"Oakley Airbrake Goggles" 12/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Oakley Airbrake Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Quickest lense change ever, Look dope, Helmet compatible , Best goggles out -- Hands down
  • Cons:  Price,

Experience:   These goggles retail around $220 from Oakley. I bought them from a member off this site for an incredible price! The goggle's construction is top notch. The goggle is firm and not flexible like the Smith IO. You can change the lens within a couple of seconds when the riding condition changes on the slope. The goggle comes with two lens. One for med-bright days and the other for low to flat light. I recommend checking out these goggles if you don't mind spending the extra cash. But it will be worth it!

"Oakley Airbrake= Awsome" 9/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Oakley Airbrake Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Easy lens change, Comfortable, Wide FOV

Experience:   These goggles are amazing. Yes, the price is a little steep but they come with a lot of little niceties like an extra lens, soft goggle pouch, and a larger goggle case. When you calculate it out its about the same if you bought an Oakley goggle and lens separately; $125 for the goggle, $75 for an extra lens plus you get the case. The lens combinations are awesome, they give you a dark lens for sunny days and a low light lens for cloudy days/night. This goggle is highly recommended for those living in dynamic mountain conditions like the East Coast or Midwest. The airbrake fit slightly wider and taller than the crowbar but the overall frame size is about the same. There is less frame view with this goggle also, when compared to the splice or crowbar. Awesome goggle!

"Great Goggles!!!" 12/10/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Oakley Airbrake Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Soooo easy to change lense, Great vision, Oakley case to carry goggles and extra lense
  • Cons:  Expensive, Can not select your own lens combination, Can not buy spare lens yet

Experience:   Going from the my old Oakley A-frame, the Airbrake is a far better goggles in terms of looks and wide angle vision. The best feature is still by far the new lens changing system, making it sooooo easy to change lens. I no longer have to dread the whole changing the lens, dropping it, scratching it process! However, purchasing this at Australian costed close to $300. Also, it would be great if there is the option of selecting you own high light + low light lens combination.

"Best Goggles out there!!!" 10/29/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Oakley Airbrake Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  comfortable, great vision, lens change is effortless
  • Cons:  might seem expensive to some,

Experience:   I only wear Oakley goggles and these are the best one by far! I've own A-frames, Wisdoms, Crowbars, etc and the Airbrakes are the best out of all of them. They fit great on your face, never fog up, and the lenses are always extremely clear. The interchangeable lens is the best part. Its soooooo easy. No matter what kind of day it is out on the mountain all you do is change the lens for that day and you dont have to shuffle through different goggles to see which ones will work the best. Ive changes lenses in other goggles and its never easy, the Airbrake makes it effortless. The price might seem expensive for some people but you get the goggles, 2 different lenses, a cleaning cloth, and a case, and thats a really good deal for all that stuff. I'm extremely happy with them and I'd recommend them to anyone!
