  • Name: Oakley Ambush Snowboard Goggles
  • Pros:  Takes a beating, Good Looks, Doesn't Pinch nose
  • Cons:  A little too dark of lenses,

Experience:   The number one thing I hate about goggles is the nose pinch. These goggles allow me to breath free unlike a lot of the other pairs I've used. They also seem to take a beating (and I usually land on my face when I fall) and they haven't broken yet! The only thing is they seem a little dark when trying to ride under the lights, but this lens is mostly for during the day anyways so its not a big deal for me! Great product!

"Nothing Special" 1/12/2012

  • Name: Oakley Ambush Snowboard Goggles
  • Pros:  Cheap, Does the job, Looks nice
  • Cons:  Reduced peripheral, Small frame,

Experience:   For Oakleys these are cheap, but there is a reason because there isn't anything special about them. The description says for Small-Medium sized faces. I consider myself a solid Medium and maybe can fit into a large. These fit alright, but there was still a little gap between the nose cushion and my nose, so it could work for mediums but would fit smalls the best. Lastly my only real problem with these goggles is with the amount of peripheral vision you have. It is definitely noticeably reduced compared to other frames I've tried one (for example crowbars).

  • Name: Oakley Ambush Snowboard Goggles
  • Pros:  comfortable, nice fit with helmet (Red Hi-Fi), no fog problems, cheap
  • Cons:  persimmon lens is too orange/dark, melted snow stain caught in gap between lenses,

Experience:   Good goggles overall but far from being the best. I never had any fog problems yet and I use them almost every day. I find the persimmon lens too dark for my liking. There's a melted snow stain caught in the middle of the lens that I can't clean out. They fit nicely with my helmet and they did'nt cost me a lot of money.
