  • Name: Oakley Splice Goggles
  • Pros:  comfortable, great vision, oakley quality
  • Cons:  lens fogging,

Experience:   i love these goggles i got them this year in a going outa business sale for 75$ and they are no comparison to other goggles in that price range, my only complaint is that i left them in my bag with wet snopants and now they fog easily seems as though after they get fogged up bad once you need to replace the lens due to consistent fogging. they are extremley comfortable and my feild of vision is much better then my old giros. wish i didnt make the mistake of buying cheaper goggles in the past should have gone for the better goggles from the start. i would recommend these to anyone.

  • Name: Oakley Splice Goggles
  • Pros:  Great fit and comfort, Nice strap and crowbar construction,
  • Cons:  not really a con but it's a bit round at the top., venting can be better, eyes get water on fast runs,

Experience:   I got the Black with persimmon lenses. It's great for any type of condition. Weather it's dark/cloudy or sunny blue bird, it's great. The goggle is really comfortable, I can wear it all day without noticing it's on. Usually with my other goggles I take them off and on when i get to the base of the mt., but not with these--they're comfy! I mean it. I guess it just fit my face nicely. I also wear this with my K2 Phase helmet, it fits nicely. The goggle strap has the gel strips on the back of it to keep the goggle in place and the strap is long enough to fit my helmet. The Splice do run a bit smaller than I thought it would, it fits about 1/2 an inch away from the corner of my eyes, but that didn't bother me much because I wanted a goggle that fit my helmet too. Another nice feature about this goggle is the crowbar like arms that the strap hooks onto, it doesn't put pressure on my ears when I'm wearing my beanie and it also help fit my helmet better--so less pressure around the eyes. They're my favorite so far.

"Nice Splice" 12/24/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Oakley Splice Goggles
  • Pros:  Look great, Good build quality, Good lenses
  • Cons:  Lenses are pricey, Slightly uncomfortable on nose,

Experience:   I've always been a big fan of Oakley, i think the make fantastic products, and the 2012 neon orange splices are no different! Killer sharp look with great visibility and the massive range of lenses to choose from make these goggles great, then you take into account i got these for free with my 1500 points coupon and you can really understand why i adore these goggles. I have a pair of A-frames as well and to be honest i think they are more comfortable but it purely comes down to facial shape and your own preference. The lenses are a little pricey but i really can't complain considering i got these goggle for free so i will definitely be getting the fire iridium lenses. As with all goggles, try them on before you buy as some goggles will sit nicely on your face and some won't. But i love my splices, another great pair from oakley!

"Great Googles" 2/5/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Oakley Splice Goggles
  • Pros:  Nice Fit, Warm, Good Vision
  • Cons:  Fog issues,

Experience:   These are great googles that have just a few flaws. They are warm and fit nicely on my face with or without a helmet. Oakley says that they won't fog but I have had some problems. Overall these goggles will get the job done and be better then any other goggle on the market.

"great goggles, will get again" 9/28/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Oakley Splice Goggles
  • Pros:  fits great on me , doesnt clamp nose , doesnt block view
  • Cons:  very oversized ,

Experience:   l really liked these when l got them. got them for a discount during the off season. l got the 2011 edition btw. so anyways, l have a pretty big nose so the crowbar really clamps it down and gets it stuffy. mine fogged a few times from me sweating and falling over but expected since l was super layered(warm). the onmly thing l dont like about it is that its very big. but l guess the purpose was oversize so the frame doesnt get in the way. these frame actuall has alot of lens tint so it realyl has one for all condition. highly recommended by me
