Sierra Says: The Timeless is one killer all mountain freestyle board that is ready to improve the skills of any intermediate to advanced level rider. Designed with an FLF Klothoid shape and Cap Sidewall construction, this board has precision turning, excellent edge grip, and unbelievable control when shredding down the steepest lines. Above all, it has NCF pre-preg fiberglass to keep its flex and overall feel more consistent and not break-down too fast. It is best used for the mountain-style riders who want to work on tricks (jumps more than jibs) but would rather do it on the mountain than be in the park. Notice your performance on the hill, whether it is tricks or more control your looking for, increase each day when riding the Timeless.

Palmer Says: The ultimate upgrade for those ready to ride at higher levels, the new Timeless redefines freestyle-friendly. Featuring new FLF shape plus full woodcore, pre-preg, cap-sidewall construction, the Timeless will stay stable at high speeds, float through powder, and land big jumps. This Freestyle powerhouse to fly down any part of the mountain comes with limited edition graphics by Daniel Anderson and a matt black over gloss white finish.

Base color may very.

"Simply Awesome" 2/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Palmer Timeless
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Makes it super easy to hit any trick, Lightweight though super stiff when you need it,
  • Cons:  The graphics has no coating and is easy to scratch,

Experience:   This is my first Palmer although I always wanted to own one. This time the price/discount was a big incentive when I was comparing it to other boards. I basically took my decision based on the dollar more that the brand but when I tried it was a big surprise, in one word simply an awesome all around board. I was able to test it an almost all conditions you can find on the hill, except for powder. It has super smooth ride, is so intuitive to handle and makes it super easy to hit tricks. On top of that its incredibly reactive and reliable when you carve hard or need that extra pop. The only down side is the graphics that is too easy to scratch and peal. It still deserves a 5 star due to the super good deal I've got from Sierra.

"I Love you Palmer" 6/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Palmer Timeless
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  No chatter at speed, Pretty stiff, Hard to catch edges
  • Cons:  Easily worn,

Experience:   I bought this board because it was cheap, and it matched my getup. Definitely when im feeling like a poser, this board comes out. Its great for all mountain freestyle, loves going quick both regularly and switch. Not too flexy which I love, doesn't get hitched on the edges too often also. I would recommend this board to any intermediate person who likes to cruise down the mountain all day, whether it be tree runs, pow or groomers.

"Awesome all mounain stick..." 11/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Palmer Timeless
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Very sharp edge to edge, Responsive, Nice carve lines
  • Cons:  Edgy on ice flats,

Experience:   Bought the board on a big sale. Like trying new brands/techs & loved the graphics. I took the board on my 1st day out of the season opener. Didn't need much getting used to. Don't expect to feel the FLF. It's not like FK or V-rocker or anything. But it's there and you feel it when carving nice s-lines. FWIW, conditions were just OK (man made snow, crushed ice). But the board performed pretty good. It was stable at speed. Real fast and I love how it holds a nice edge when taking a carve line. The board I felt was light and extremely responsive. Now powder yet. It's also has great pop and lands clean off the little kickers. No big jumps were open to try, but from the little things I tried, board felt very slid & lively. Only draw I felt was a little edgy when hitting the flat ice runs. No biggy, but just saying, it's not as flat as the other RC boards. Riding switch was efortless!!! I'm not as good on switch, but for the little I did, it felt real natural going switch and back. Will likely improve my switch riding on the board by a mile this year. :) All in all, I love the board and will likely be my go to stick this year. Sick graphics, felt real light and a great all around board that I can take everywhere. I like how responsive it is when initiating a trurn and it was real quick edge to edge. The waist width is an amazing 257 which is perfect for my 11.5 boots. Don; know why companies make either 248 or 268 ww for wides when 257-260 is just perfect for 164 size!!!! If you like carving nice and smooth trail lines and enjoy going all over the mountain jumping and speeding... this board is a good fit. Too bad 2011 no more! :( Cheers....

Added thought... I took this board through knee deep snow, glades, trees, ice, flats & crud! Rode like a champ! Cut through everything and held real tight on ice. Turn initiation was superb in the trees. VERY impressed. Smooth nice ride and super fast if you want to charge with! Cheers...

"Great board" 10/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Palmer Timeless
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  stable at high speed, good through icy/hard pack conditions,
  • Cons:  top sheet scratched after first run,

Experience:   I bought this board more for back country and similar off piste stuff but haven't had the chance to ride it through fresh pow yet. I spent 5 days on this board in hard pack/icy conditions. The snow softened up in the afternoon. This board is super fast (though I chose a 164cm board and I normally ride 160-162). It was stable at the higher speeds as well and I was able to maintain control without using major effort even on the icy conditions. I took it on a small jump I made and it was pretty decent. The jump was small so I was only doing 180 and 3's. Riding switch was ok too even though it is supposed to be directional. There were no rails or any park where I went so I could not try those things.

Forgot to mention the board seems (to me) to be mid stiff. Probably 6-7/10

"Excellent All Mountain Board" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Palmer Timeless
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds
  • Pros:  Great edge hold and has excellent stability.,
  • Cons:  None.,

Experience:   Tried the Palmer brand last year due to the low price Sierra had on them and was glad I did. I found the Palmer brand to be as good as anything else out there. As far as the Timeless goes, I enjoy this board much more than my Burton Custom 157. I tend to be more of a freeride guy and find that this board really holds an edge and is super stable at high speeds.

"Great versatile board" 3/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Palmer Timeless
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Smooth carving, Great edge hold - speedy & stable,
  • Cons:  FLF wasn't very noticeable,

Experience:   I got a chance to take this board (160) out today for a few hours today, and I'm very happy with it. I was looking for a versatile board I can take all over the resort, and the Timeless delivers. It was solid on ice, steeps, and never chattered at speed. The Palmer FLF Rocker wasn't very noticeable to me- if you're expecting it to feel like a Sierrascope-style FlatKick: don't. It's fairly firm; I'd rate it maybe a 7/10 in terms of flex. Bottom line: I'm pretty sure this is my new go-to board. It makes feel like I'm riding above my level.
