  • Name: Pro-tec Ips Wrist
  • Pros:  Removable Guards, Snug, Anatomic Fit,
  • Cons:  Bulky Under Gloves, Could Be Made From Heat Mouldable Thermoplastic,

Experience:   I bought these with view to saving my wrists in the event of a spill! Thus I haven't had to call upon them, but its nice knowing that your covered! Working in a profession that requires very dexterous hand movement, I can't afford to be laid up with a busted wrist. Probably the real reason why I picked these up. Very snug fit, especially with base layers that have thumb loops, the physical bulk of these guards best suit larger glove sizes. I'm currently working on a way of modifying the removable plastic inserts to make them a little more lo-pro. But overall a solid investment in your health. REMEMBER YOU'VE ONLY GOT TWO HANDS!

  • Name: Pro-tec Ips Wrist
  • Pros:  better than a brace you buy at stores, great price, can be used under gloves
  • Cons:  feels weird at first,

Experience:   I initially bought it because I wanted to use it as a brace for one of my wrists since I had landed on it wrong while snowboarding. It looks better and is much more durable than a typical brace that you purchase at a drug store (plus--better price b/c u get 2 and it looks nice!) I've also used it under my gloves for snowboarding as well-- take a little gettin used to at first --but it helps so much! By the end of the day- your wrist still feels good as new.
