"Great helmet " 11/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Comfortable , warm, good fit

Experience:   I've had my red munity for 2 seasons now and hasn't let me down. As soon as I put it on, it seemed to fit perfectly. No pressure points, perfectly snug through out the whole helmet. Could be too warm on hot spring days is the only real con. Looks great and works well.

"Solid lid" 11/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Good fit, Well designed, Comfortable

Experience:   Have used this helmet the past season (think i had the 2011 version but is identical) and it has been awesome. Fits well and the goggle gasket, ear pieces and venting are great design features. also the ability to have headphones built in is a bonus, but i am yet to try this. My only problem was that after wearing it all day my ears felt a bit squashed, but i solved this by taking the extra padding out of the earpieces and it is now minimal. Overall a sweet helmet.

"Good Helmet" 2/28/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Good fit, Comfortable padding,
  • Cons:  Not adjustable, Venting,

Experience:   I have used this helmet for a season and I am happy with this lid. Although it is not adjustable the medium size helmet fits me well. I wear a 7 1/4 fitted hat. The padding inside makes the helmet more comfortable than my old Giro Surface that fit well but doesn't have the soft padding. The helmet kept me warm and has two vents that are supposed to bring air in from the front to cool you down when it gets hot. But, the vents don't really do anything. Overall still a very good helmet.

"Awesome Helmet!!" 10/14/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Comfort, Low profile look,
  • Cons:  No external vents,

Experience:   I've been using Smith helmets until I tried on this one. This is now my favorite lid to wear. The padding is very comfortable and doesn't feel like it puts any pressure on my head. I bought the speakers to go in the ear pads and it sounds ok. There's no external vents but that's ok as long as it's not a warm spring day. If it does get hot, you can take the padding off that cover your ears. There are small vents that bring airflow in from under the brim which can be opened and closed even when wearing gloves. Fits all of my goggles nicely. The only exception would be for the oversized huge ones.

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Comfortable, Brim, Secure fit , Ventilation ,

Experience:   I love the snug fit of this helmet and how it looks. I have a small head so I got the XS and it fits perfectly without any pressure points. The removable ear pads are very comfy and warm. The helmet is not too bulky and has a nice shape. Personally, my favorite feature is the brim. I just like the way it looks with goggles.

"bueno pero con defectos" 2/18/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  low profile, abrigo, vicera

"Huge fan of Red Mutiny" 1/23/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Warm, Sturdy, Great Styling
  • Cons:  No ventilation, Slightly heavy,

Experience:   Have had a bright blue Mutiny helmet for the duration of this season (about 5 trips out) and have enjoyed it a lot. The fit is good, but the helmet feels a tad heavier than the HiFi I used to have. The inner lining is warm, but maybe a TAD bit too warm as there's no ventilation. Overall, it's an extremely solid piece of equipment and I've been able to ride in confidence while appreciating the styling.

"Okay." 1/11/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Decent looking ,
  • Cons:  Ear pads slip out, New goggle strap falls out,

Experience:   I had an older version of this helmet and got the new one for free. I like it overall, but there are a couple of problems. First, the ear pads still slip out (although it was worse on the older ones... it seems like they added a small notch to try to keep it in) Second, the new goggle strap holder in the back is a step backwards. It comes out too easily.

"RED Mutiny" 12/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Low profile, Warm
  • Cons:  Ear warmers comes out easily,

Experience:   Solid helmet by Red. Helmet is very comfortable, has a low profile, and keeps my head warm. The only issue I found was that the ear warmers tends to come loose pretty easily. Other than that, it's a solid helmet for the price. Fits well with my A-frames.

"Good looking!" 12/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Lower profile, Lip on front,

Experience:   Pretty much all helmets nowadays are the same but this one is lower profile so some hoodies can go over it. It gets a lot of reppin cause it looks sick and stylish. I'd say buy it you can't go wrong.
