"Great board" 10/21/2009
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride DH2
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Halfpipe,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Great mid flex, light, Great pop
  • Cons:  could use a better topsheet,

Experience:   This board is great. I take it anywhere. It is my do anything board. weather its rails boxes booters or bombing a mountain. It does it all for me. i love the flex to it. it is still soft enough to butter and jib but yet still stiff enough to preform all over the mountain. very stable at high speeds. the base graphic is sick. HELLSYEAH!!! also the ride low rize tech is sick...it feels like a normal board but its softer and easier to turn and press.

Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride DH2
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Reverse camber done right, pop sticks, slime walls
  • Cons:  topsheet? i like it but some dont,

Experience:   Rode this in some great out of bounds powder in Beaver creek for the first day. Floated like a champ, and with a little rub on outa the box i was cruzing past everyone. Pop sticks work well, and the reverse camber on this board is low rize, so its mellow and playful, yet was incredibly stable at high speeds. mobbin through moguls the toe edge responce was a bit slow but that could have been a problem with my bindings as well. Great pow to park to pillows to groomer board! Slime walls act much as the btx magnatraction lib tech and gnu are using, pretty much the same thing, carves on ice great. All around a great board if you can find it for under $479, shop around. I love it and ride it everyday anywhere from the backcountry of Vail to park laps at keystone. Im now a DH fan!!

"My Favorite Board!" 11/18/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride DH2
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Poppy , Stable , Butter-able

Experience:   Ive been riding for 15 years, and Ive been suspect of the whole rocker revolution because I like stable boards and Ive ridden a lot of rocker boards that would wash out on me. The DH2, with all the technology (pop sticks, carbon, slimewalls, the blendz sidecut) is the only on, for me, that balanced the loose, playful feel of a rocker board, with the high speed stability of a cambered one. Plus, It floats like a champ in powder. LOVED IT!

"My Ride DH2" 2/21/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride DH2
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Looks great, Will help you develop, Lightweight
  • Cons:  None so far,

Experience:   I am a relatively new snowboarder. This is my first season owning my own equipment and I am very happy with this board. I am riding it with Burton Freestyle Bindings and K2 Pulse Boots. Very beginner equipment, however, the Ride DH2 should NOT be considered a beginner board. This board will do anything you need it to. As a newer snowboarder I found it really easy to carve and helped improve my confidence and abilities. It was lightweight so it was easy for me to try really simple ollies and presses. Its got a lot of flex and pop due to tech like pop rods and slimewalls. I would definitely recommend this board for beginners to intermediates. I chose this board because I see myself using it for a LONG time because it gives me the option to try new things on the mountain and will grow with me as I progress as a snowboarder.

"2009 Ride DH2 DFC" 10/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride DH2
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Flexibility , Easy to ride,
  • Cons:  Horrible on Ice, Not a fan of the top sheet,

Experience:   I picked this board up second hand for a bargain. Its great to use anywhere on the mountain but i find it slighty more park orientated. It's an easy to board to ride and holds up well, however does not hold up well on the ice. Top sheet isn't the best and also tends to chip. However overall a great great board.
