"Ride Jacksons" 10/21/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride Jackson BOA Coiler Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Quick BOA, High Quality, Fitted internals
  • Cons:  Can loosen , Larger Boot,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Got these for the new season to update my boot option. Off the bat they had a great fit even though they only have the standard inside tightening. My feet felt really locked into the boot from the ankle support. Along with the BOA, the boot in general feels really fit. If youre going for a stiffer and tough boot, I suggest these. My only complaint is that they seem to be a bit long themselves. For instance the toes of the boot hangover my board by a lot when compared to prior boots. I had to set the bindings and heelcup back to compensate.

"Awesome BOA Boot" 3/25/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride Jackson BOA Coiler Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Warm, Super comfortable plush inner, Boa is simple
  • Cons:  Fairly average style,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   These are the first pair of boots I have bought and I got them in white in Perth, AUS. Normally the boots I have hired are lace ups which take forever to tighten evenly and if they come undone are a pain to do up at the top of the mountain. These boots never have that issue due to BOA. Also super comfortable(even with my wide feet) and (almost too) warm. Fairly standard design but who cares when they're covered in snow?

"Great BOA boots" 2/22/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride Jackson BOA Coiler Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Fast lacing system, Decent ice traction, Stiffness makes it more responsive
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  7.5
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   I bought these boots to replace my DC phase boots which were size 9. The reason for switching was two-fold: the boots packed out so much that the only way to get a good fit was to tie them as tight as possible but after an hour or so they would feel loose, second was that I got tired of using traditional laces so I wanted to give the BOA system a try. It was a decision between the jacksons and anthems, after trying both and and comparing specs the jacksons had a couple more features such as external ankle j-bars. The liner lacing system is really easy and just as fast at the BOA system themselves and stay tight but can be loosened just as fast. The BOA system makes things really convenient to get in and out and as well as loosen them while in the ski lodge. The boots themselves are quite stiff but give the user more response and control. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and I also appreciate the fact that the BOA system has a lifetime warranty and getting replacement parts is as simple as filling a simple form on the BOA website.

"worth the extra 20" 12/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride Jackson BOA Coiler Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  siffer than anthem, light weight, good for narrow feet
  • Cons:  not dual boa, will pack out a half size at least,
  • Fit:  soft
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  12
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   you can not go wrong with the boa system. These are nicely stiffer than anthems which I rode last year so they will hold up better during the day, also sized down from my anthems because they packed out significantly after about 10 days but are very comfortable, I was able to size down a full size comfortably for better control. Fit is much truer than Burtons which are just way to wide for me. At some point I'll get to the Insanos. I'm not a park rider so I'm trying to go stiffer bootwise and this is a nice mid-stiff boot for the price

"Great boot!" 12/28/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride Jackson BOA Coiler Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Liner lacing lockdown, lightweight, comfortable
  • Cons:  colors, no dual zone,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Really nice boot with convenient lacing system. Liner lacing lockdown is super easy. Just a simple pull and it tightens without much effort. Boot is super lightweight and pretty comfortable. The boa system isn't a dual zone which tightens from the top of the boot to the bottom. Boot isn't clunky compared to most boots.
