"Sizing Chart is off!" 2/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (5) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Cheap entry level binding,
  • Cons:  Does not fit my girlfriend's size 6 boot!,

Experience:   I just purchased these bindings for my girlfriend. She was excited up until we realized that these did not fit her boots. We bought her a small and the sizing chart stated that it should fit women's boot sizes 3-6. My girlfriend has a size 6 Thirty two boot and the bindings were too small. The boots wouldn't even sit flush to the binding because the bindings weren't wide enough. I suggest you go one size up if you fall towards the larger end of the sizing scale.

USA size 4-7 but UK size 1,5-4,5

I have experienced the same with DC Boots as well. He width of the binding is not suit to boots in the larger size end of the size range.

taki
Same experience here. My wife boot size is 8, according to the size chart, i went for the M but the boot (Forum boot) could only fit in after adjusting the binding to max size and squeezing the edge of the sole while easily fit in a burton M size binding. Similar suggestion, if you are at the higher limit of size chart, I suggest you go one size up.

"2009 Ride LXh Bindings (Small, White)" 2/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Stylish, Wide, secure and functional straps, Progressive
  • Cons:  Narrow width (?),
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Purchased the Ride LXh bindings, White, size Small, from Sierra (obviously!) for a ridiculously low price. This season has left me with more boards than bindings and thought these are good for my first love, the Ride Solace (model year unknown). Currently, I wear Salomon Vigil boots and it's a squeeze to fit them into the binding as the bindings are a tad on the narrow side. The toe side of my boots overlap the inner strap of the bindings. Suppose I could get a Medium set of bindings. Problem solved. Still a cheap buy, but NOT to be mistaken for cheap quality. I believe these bindings to be rugged enough to withstand the damage posed by an intermediate snowboarder. Add points for style-- colors are nice. The straps will certainly hold you down. They are beefy! The toe strap may be used as toe caps if you prefer. Overall weight is average and relative for their size. I like them very much!

"Works, but could spend more for better" 4/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  cheap, stiff, comfortable
  • Cons:  ratchets are sharp,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   My gf had these but switched to some Burtons because the boot fit was better. They were a little narrow for her boot which were Salomon Dawns. I had Ride EX and thought these would work for her, oh well. But overall, good cheap binding that will do the trick and work for the females that are starting out. Nice color combinations too!

"Best for beginners" 4/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Cheap price,
  • Cons:  Low quality,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I bought these bindings for my sister because she is starting out. The sizing chart is a little misleading. The small is very small and it'll cost you $12 to send them back if they end up being too small.

"size small can't fit size 7 boots" 1/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  cheap, good looking, good brand,
  • Cons:  can't really fit the size 7 boots with size small,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Small size binding says it fits 4-7 but I can't put size 7 Forum boots in because the bottom edge is too wide. I chose this binding because all other on sale binding items were Burton at the time, and they can't ship Burton to Canada...sigh. Then I found out Rome has a on sale binding with M size just after I bought this one...double sigh. I probably should've spent more $ on non-sale bindings for M sizes.

  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Boot hold, Durable, Good construction quality, Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand, Popular model
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   I sport the Ride LX and my wife sports the Ride LXh womens. She won't use anything else. Perfect fit. Very comfortable. Easy to get in and out of. She has used them for a while and ridden them hard and they're holding up great. Best bindings on the market and at a great price.

"decent binding" 10/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  dirt cheap, nice look,
  • Cons:  dirt cheap, straps difficult to adjust,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Bought these for my gf, they run a little small like other reviewers have mentioned, so get one size larger and you should be set. Decent binding; straps are a little difficult to adjust and not the fastest in/out.

"they were worth the price" 6/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  cheap, aluminum frame=quick response,
  • Cons:  cheap, sizing,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   When I got these bindings they were $40, so I got two pair. They're for sure worth what I paid for them. They seem fairly durable, but Ride always does have they're strap issues. I've used them a few times and really dig them. In the park, in the pow, they've done me right. They are really snug depending on the boots I'm wearing, so maybe take your boots to a local shop to see what size you really need before you order.

"does its job " 11/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  color scheme ,

Experience:   Had to buy these bindings when I was in Mammoth last year when my old ones broke. It was a deal so I snagged them up instead of ruining my trip. They work well but with all the new technology such as toe caps and stuff, I have a slight case of buyer's remorse. It's all good cause these bindings work perfectly until I upgrade my gear in a couple of years.

"Ride LxH" 6/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Solid binding, Held up all season and still looks new, Gets the job done for a beginner no doubt
  • Cons:  Strap movement is iffy,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Bought these for my girlfriend who just learned to snowboard this year. These were the first pair of bindings she ever used and used them all season with no major problems. The straps don't move very smoothly, especially when it gets cold the top strap gets a little sticky when you try to move it out of the way to get out or move it back to strap in but other than that they work perfect. For the price you wont find anything comparable!
