"Marshall Law" 6/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Rome Marshall
  • Pros:  Great heel hold, Comfortable, Great lacing system
  • Cons:  Hard to get off,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  12
  • Boot Size:  12

Experience:   My origional low price boots were wearing out and I decided to upgrade. I didn't know what to expect from Rome's top boot, but I decided to shell out a little extra money. I was seriously impressed. These boots fit me perfectly and are very true to size. The inner lacing system locks your heel in so tight that you never have to worry about heel lift. The inner liner is super comfortable and my feet were never cold (I didn't use them on any really cold days though). Even with all the tech they are pretty lightweight and their mid-stiff flex was perfect for me as an all mountain/freestyle rider. I was skeptical about paying a lot of money for boots, but they were definitly worth the investment, especially with all Sierra's discounts. I would highley recommend these boots. The only negative is that they are difficult to take off, but with boots this comfortable you won't want to stop boarding at the end of the day.

"Epic boot by Rome" 4/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Rome Marshall
  • Pros:  look ad style, tech and spec, price was good to
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   I purchased these boots in hope that the ROME size would be a little bigger than normal size, as they only had limited sizes left. So I bought the half size smaller. BUGGER! Just didn't quite fit. So, So, So annoyed. I got my foot in, but needed an army to get it back off. What I felt (aprt from cramped) was awesome. I really am impressed with the tech of these boots. The colour scheme was great with the dark army green set out by the orange laces. Looking forward to Sierra re-stock, as a pair of these will being going straight into the cart for next season.

  • Name: Rome Marshall
  • Pros:  no heel slip, laces don't get shredded,
  • Fit:  mid

  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   i just got these. while i haven't had a chance to hit the slopes yet, i've been wearing them around the house to try to break them in. it's odd they don't hurt at all. one of my feet is bigger than the other so it's always weird to buy boots but these fit me perfect. usually one boot fits better than the other but it's weird, not the case for these boots

  • Name: Rome Marshall
  • Pros:  perfect for everyone,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   This boot Is Super Comfy right out of the box. I recommend going a half size down from your regular shoe size.I have already tested the 2010 version of this boot and it is even better!I love the inside-out lacing. you can tighten the lacing that holds your ankle down without un-doing the outside laces. This is deffinately a Freestyle jumps and rails and boxes kind of boot. What I have done with mine, is i have put a ton of foward lean on my bindings, and the boot conforms perfectly into the bindings so that i get a ton of response when transitioning from edge to edge!Ask me a question on here and ill try to answer it.

"Comfy fit" 6/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Rome Marshall
  • Pros:  Comfortable all around, Warm,
  • Cons:  Pain to get off,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   Demoed a pair and it was one of the best fit I ever. Boot felt snug all around just perfect. Liners were nice and tight and lacing was fairly quick. It kept me warm, never complained about freezing toes even with a lot of down time just standing trying to help a friend learn. After a long day, dead tired this boot will fight you ever bit of the way when your trying to get out of it. But overall its a awesome boot.
