Sierra Says: The 2009/10 Czar has been called the best consumer powder ski. I tend to agree with this statement and by adding a longer size in the 190, Salomon is ruling the mountain with this ski. The full wood core and monocoque construction creates a perfect resort powder ski. You can be skiing blower in the morning and by afternoon blowing through crud with ease.

Salomon Says: The tool for playing in powder. Perfect for stomping tricks and generally ripping around the backcountry. 670mm of rocker in the tip for powder flotation.

Take it to hardpack, and Salomon’s stiff Monocoque construction helps you lay down solid arcs, at eyewatering speeds. Trees? Cut ‘em down. Cliffs? Stomp ‘em out. Pow? Float it. In fact, the only thing you probably can’t do with the Czar is slalom race on it. At least, we didn’t try. Experience: Good Long ski for experienced riding all over the mountain. In freeride terrain, it copes alright however it can not handle today's beatings of the modern ski bum in the rail park.

Pros: Great float, Easy to turn,

Experience: Overall a great ski. Works excellent in powder and crud as the rocker keeps the tips up and not diving into the snow. Plenty of width under foot for float in powder. Turns surprisingly well on the groomers back to the lift which I was a little worried about, but didn't need to be. I don't ski in the park so can't attest to that, but it handled everything in the back bowls that came along.

Experience: With this ski you can go evrywhere that you want. Perfect in backountry because there there are perfect in powder. The only negative point is the freestyle but we can't have all that we want ...

Experience: The Czar is a great great ski. Early rise in the tips. It planes out at lower speed really well. Skis similar to the older seths, but better. Light weight, also makes them a great choice for an all mountian ski.

Experience: i demo'd these this season and i wasnt that impressed, the obsethed would be a way better ski. it is a very good charging ski, but not that versitle when it comes to groomers and not haveing a little pow, and theres better skis in the pow also
