  • Pros:  Cool graphics., Really soft., Perfect jib board.

Experience:   I've only ridin this board for a day but from what i've seen its been great. A little bit soft for all mountain riding but it can still be done. Great on the rails and boxes like you would expect. 3.5/5

  • Name: Salomon Salvatore Sanchez Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  soft flex, light, twin board, easy to turn,
  • Cons:  edge hold,

Experience:   I actually demo'd the 2012 Salvatore Sanchez today. I rode it down the groomers and into the park. Edge hold could be a little better on ice. Snappy response but could use some more pop. Great for jibbing and buttering.

"For jibs only!" 7/28/2011

  • Name: Salomon Salvatore Sanchez Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  very soft, light,
  • Cons:  unstable,

Experience:   Conditions: Bear creek, Macungie, PA. 20 degrees, Man made groomed snow. Preconceived notions: This board was a replacement for my crush, which i found to be too stiff to jib. A friend who is sponsored by salomon recommended this board for me as he rides it for park. On the snow: I found this board to be much lighter than the crush, and this was evident by the ride up the lift as there was not much weight on my front foot. Once off the lift, i could tell things would be different than the crush. Bear creek does not have a lift that serves just a park, so you need to do some riding to get to it. This board swiveled back and forth the whole way. Due to the rocker in the middle, it lifted the contact points pretty well, and it felt like the board was searching for an edge the whole time. Once in the park, it was fun to press around on, but it was just so unstable. What fun is to ride a board if it is unstable even between rails in the park? I really could not recommend this board to anyone. There are softer rocker boards out there that are much more stable.
