"The Vivid Blue Looks Awesome" 5/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sessions Primo Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Cool colours, Ninja Hands
  • Cons:  Sleeve length could be a tad longer, Only one inner pocket,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Slightly Baggy

Experience:   I wish it had another inner pocket, but the one you see in the picture is all there is. It has plenty of outer pockets, and a semi-inner pocket next to the zip. This is the main reason it lost a star for me. The sleeves are a tad too short for me when using the hand bits on the end. My arm length is 80cm from shoulder top to my knuckles. It's a very warm jacket and not too baggy, fits very well.

"Great jacket for the $$" 5/20/2010

  • Name: Sessions Primo Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  great for the money,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  This jacket is baggy fit

Experience:   I am a male 6'0 and 210lb I normally wear a XL in shirts and jackets I read other reviews and saw it fit bigger, so I got the Large and it fits perfect. Nice looking and plenty of pockets. Great jacket for the $$ I paid $60.00 one day sale am glad I got it.

"Great Jacket for Different Conditions" 3/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sessions Primo Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Warm on cold days, Ventialtes well on sunny days, Looks good
  • Cons:  Not enough large pockets, One button came off quickly,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Inner elastic band was tight, but main jacket felt just loose enough.

Experience:   This jacket feels really good no matter what the mountain conditions are. The fabric inside the jacket feels really warm when its needed, but the jacket can be really well vented on those spring days. I usually don't bring a lot up on the mountain (board lock, phone, keys, etc.) so this jacket works for me. But it only has two pockets on the outside, so the pockets fill up fast. Only real problem was that one of the buttons fell off before I took it up the mountain even once (kind of an insignificant one that I don't really notice). A couple of specific features I liked on the jacket were the built in hand liners that saved my a$$ on a cold day when I forgot my glove liners, and the hood large enough to fit over my helmet. Its durability is kind of in question because of the button thing, but I would recommend getting this jacket for anyone looking.

"Terrific All-rounder" 4/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sessions Primo Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Super warm, Great Design,
  • Cons:  Lack of pockets,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy Goodness

Experience:   I normally wear a M/L, and after reading a few reviews got this jacket in a medium. I prefer a bit of extra room to move, so the M is perfect. But for those who don’t like their jackets too baggy, might want to downsize on your usual size. It is a great jacket season round, will keep you warm/cosy whatever conditions Mother Nature decides to throw at you. Would benefit from a few extra pockets tho. But great jacket overall!

"Pefect Jacket" 5/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sessions Primo Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Super Warm, Enough zips and storage space, Inner layer that goes over thumb and into gloves
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Unreal

Experience:   Got this jacket on the staff pick sale and have to say its unreal best $60 i have ever spent. Thick enough to keep me warm on the coldest aussie snow day! But not too thick that im going to boil during the early spring snow sessions! Heaps of zips and places to store belongings safely. Personally im a huge fan of the inner layer that goes over your thumbs and into your gloves.

"LOVE IT!" 5/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sessions Primo Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Quality, Fit, Design
  • Cons:  I only ordered one,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Not too baggy not too snug, just right!

Experience:   Let me just start by saying I live in Australia, so to the conditions here this jacket is PERFECT! Not warm enough to cook me on a spring-ish day (we actually have no snow during spring) and not light enough to freeze me on a cold day. The quality is what you'd expect of Sessions, very good. The product seems well thought out with pockets on the right places and zippers that won't cost you valuable riding time. It does what it's supposed to do and manage to make you look stylish whilst doing so. I got the black striped one and it looks awesome! I'm tired of everyone wearing really crazy colours so I went for a more conservative look this time (prob something to do with me being over 30 now! lol) and I'm very pleased with what I got! Can't recommend it enough, especially if you're lucky to get it on the staff pick sale like I did.

  • Name: Sessions Primo Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Pockets for days, Warm, Super waterproof
  • Cons:  Be sure to size down,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  A size too big

Experience:   I normally wear an XL, 5'10/215lbs, but based on my last Sessions purchase I went with the L. Perfect fit. Warm, lightweight, not too long, and best of all it looks way better in person than it does on the website.

"GREAT JACKET" 2/6/2011

  • Pros:  WARM, STYLISH,
  • Cons:  LACK OF POCKETS,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L

Experience:   This is a great jacket to wear in almost any weather. Keeps you very warm. I usually wear L-XL so i rodered the Large and it fits me good. It does tend to be alil bigger so people might want to consider downsizing when buying this jacket. I highly recommend to anyone.

"Great All Round Jacket" 12/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sessions Primo Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  warm, insert in hood so does not block vision,
  • Cons:  sleeves about 1 too short,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Just right if you select 1 size down.

Experience:   Rider Profile: 6ft, 215 lbs. I usually wear an XL in other jackets, but reading the reviews of some others, i opted to buy a Large for a non baggy fit. Sizing down to a large, the jacket fits perfect for a loose fit. I took this jacket to weather that was about -10 degrees C (sorry american friends, google the conversion) with windchill, it was about -15 to -20. i wore only a baselayer thermal and was toasty all day. i have also taken it to warmer temperature riding and the pit zips allow you to cool down. There inside zip pockets on the left and right side with earphone ports. The left breast zip is side accessible without undoing your jacket and comes with a goggle wipe. the jacket also includes hand slip with thumb holes. i found that since i sized down, these were not long enough and are overstretched because my arms are too long if i try to use them. Lastly, i was in pretty damp/wet snow for a good 4 hours and although the outside of the jacket was notiecably wet, i was bone dry on the inside, so it has excellent waterproofing.

Comments & Questions

fini
Update: after putting a few extra days on the jacket, the threads from my arms and elbow areas have started to fray and come loose. This is very upsetting as I've only put about 10 days on the jacket. In the middle of Sessions Warranty claim to see if I can get it replaced somehow.
