"No padding at all" 2/10/2012
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  waterproof, big enough for mounted board + small items, durable
  • Cons:  no padding, not even on the shoulder strap, no extra pockets

Experience:   Won this in the daily draw and it's worth the cost of shipping. It's probably even worth $20 but I would not travel with it. There is no padding in the bag whatsoever. Not even in the shoulder strap. It's fine for taking up to your local hill so you don't get your trunk wet/dirty after a day of riding but I would never travel with this bag. I would call this more a board sleeve then a board bag, and I'm sure there are better padded bags out there, just not sure for this price. It's definitely better then nothing.

Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Bag is functional, Durable, Cheap
  • Cons:  No padding, No pockets either,

Experience:   Bag fits all sized boards. The bag is unpadded but gets the job done. Convenient compact travel case for any snowboard. Could use additional pockets for equipment. Includes handles and a strap for carrying. Great Value for the price.

"Its just a bag" 1/16/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  has carry straps and a shoulder strap,
  • Cons:  no padding, one size only,

Experience:   ok, so I was needing a board bag and my friend won one and didnt need it, so he gave it to me. Ive been using it for a year or so now, and its just a basic board bag. It has no real waterproof liner, nor does it have any padding. This is fine for just throwing it in the back of the car or for storage, but I would still prefer to use any of my dakine bags which Ive since bought. I noticed the last time I used my sierra bag that because its not padded, nor has reinforcement along where the board edge should be, my bag has a few small slits from where my edge cut through.... for storage, good. for car travel, ok. for air travel, forget about it.

"Nice No Nonsense Bag" 12/31/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Roomy enough for boots,
  • Cons:  no padding,

Experience:   Won the Sierra bag during the daily giveaway. Already put it into good use on my first trip this season. It's big and roomy and I can even stash my boots in the bag. I think it serves it's purpose as a basic board bag.

"Sierra Board Bag" 12/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Spacious, Light , Shoulder Straps

Experience:   This bag is awesome. I got it with my Sierra snowboard. Its nice and big so it allows me to put much more than my snowboard in it. I'm able to put my boots and even more if I wanted to. The bag also has straps so you can just tossed them over your shoulders rather than holding them with your hand. Overall good bag.

Comments & Questions

dangerzone9k
I won this bag also but I didn't want to pay for shipping. Is the bag worth the $6 for shipping? I'm trying to use the bag for air travel. Do you think it will hold up? Thanks

jnguyen
Honestly, I don't think the bag would hold up for air travel, the bag is pretty thin so if its rubs up against something sharp it might rip. I only use it to toss in the car but it might hold up for air travel... If your not using it for air travel then its worth getting it and worth the shipping. Hope that helped

Byers
Dangerzone9k I got the bag for free with my order, its awesome for car trips, bit of protection, very roomy etc, but I wouldn't use it on a plane.

"keeps your board in one piece" 7/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (5) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  plenty of room, shoulder strap,
  • Cons:  no padding, no wheels,

Experience:   i bought this bag for my trip out to colorado. the first thing i noticed was that there wasnt any padding. this made me a little bit concerned to let the airline handle it. when i picked up my bag i was relieved to see my board and gear perfectly fine. at first i bought this just for my board but you can fit so much else into it. i keep my goggles, gloves, pants, jacket, and you wouldnt believe it but my boots and helmet too. i think this bag is also a great organizer. i just leave all my stuff in it so i dont forget the gloves or the goggles. i know we have all done that before. the shoulder strap is also great for carrying it through the airport even though it doesnt have wheels. this is a must have for anyone that travels with their snowboard and gear that wants it all to stay protected.

This bad is not ideal for Air Travel. It is more a bag for the car or truck too and from the mountain.

"just a bag" 6/13/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  large,
  • Cons:  shoulder strap,

Experience:   Got this bag as a gift when I bought my last snowboard and bindings. The bag is decent if your just trying to get your gear from your house to the slope but if your going on a trip where your afraid your board might get abused I'd look for something different. I myself use my dakine bag for my newest board and the Sierra for my backup. For 20$ its a good price.

"Great board bag" 2/15/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Good price, Spacious, Travel Ready

Experience:   This product has plenty of room for my board while bindings are strapped to the snowboard. It is a great travel snowboard bag to have. It fits in small places if needed to store away. I definitely recommend it.

"A good bag if you don't try and make it be something it's not." 1/7/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Large enough for my gear,
  • Cons:  Bag doesn't hold up to a lot of wear and tear,

Experience:   I won this bag in a giveaway a couple years ago. It's a good bag to store your gear and haul it to the hills but it doesn't really seem made to last. I put it through some rough conditions and so it wouldn't be fair for me to give this bag a bad review because of my misuse. I had an opportunity spring up for me to fly out to Colorado and this was the only bag I had available to transport my board (along with my brother's skis and a good deal of our outdoor clothing). After the trip there were a number of holes from skis and bindings however the bag is still useable. I feel confident that if it were only my equipment in the bag that the bag would be in much better condition after the trip though it would still make for a poor choice for a lot of travel.

"Great Simple Bag" 11/26/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Durable, Holds other equipment, Cheap
  • Cons:  For this price, none, Plastic clasps but they are durable,

Experience:   I've been using this bad for 3 seasons without any problems. It's durable and waterproof except for the zipper. It does its job and let's you hold your helmet and boots in it too.
