"Not worth it" 1/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (5) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Sleeve Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Can carry a board ,
  • Cons:  Not worth it,

Experience:   Well, I won this bag in the daily giveaways, but I will write this review for the item at the listed price. This is an unpadded bag that is most like the Burton space sack and seems to only come in size 168. I had expected something of higher quality because this is a $50 bag that is Sierra branded (versus a designer snowboard brand). I see no reason to buy this bag over the cheaper discounted space sacks that will be more fitted to your board. Or the similarly priced discounted gig bags which are padded and much better at protecting your board for travel.

Does it have a small side pocket?

"basic snowboard bag, no frills" 7/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Sleeve Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  lightweight,
  • Cons:  no padding, more expenisve than l thought, no pockets

Experience:   my friend won this for the giveaway, so l thought l would borrow it and bring it on my states trip. when l first got it, first impression was a pretty slick design and light, but upon looking closer l noticed that it was because there was no padding to protect the board. now l'm no pro, but l know the burton space sack is like 1/2 the price and is pretty much identical. so obviously, if it wasn't free, lt would have been a total rip. l was also looking for pockets to hold my contact lens in so l can put on when l reach the mountain but once again, no pockets so just had to throw it in a makeup bag instead. although l must say it was nice to be able to fit all my gear in a bag without having to carry each out individually out. but honestly, wouln'dt buy again

"Great" 10/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Sleeve Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  roomy, easy to carry ,
  • Cons:  too much room for those who have small boards,

Experience:   My buddy owns a board bag and tried it out. it is roomy so its got plenty for any board but if your not careful you may have too much room and have your board slide as your carrying it.

"Freebie" 10/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Sleeve Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Aerodynamic, Black and Yellow, SUPER LIGHT
  • Cons:  SUPER LIGHT, No padding,

Experience:   Its basically a super sized duffel of awesomeness, so get pumped if you are the lucky giveaway winner who walks away with one of these bad boys. Nice sleeve if you like storing your board in the shed or whatever in the offseason. Not a padded sleeve; thus, not ideal for travel, but this board bag still has a host of potential uses.

"Decent Low Budget Board Bag" 2/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Sleeve Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Cheap(ish), Clean Design,
  • Cons:  No Padding,

Experience:   I recently received this bag after winning the daily giveaway. A little surprised by the low reviews for it. For a low budget bag it seems like a pretty solid pickup. It has a pretty minimal / simplistic design. It fits my board nicely (currently riding a 160W) and seems to work well for short distance trips (I would invest in a padded or roller bag if I were doing any air travel). Theres obviously better bags on the market but this is by no means a 1-3 star bag.

"Simple Board Bag" 10/31/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Sleeve Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  shoulder strap,hand straps,
  • Cons:  No Pockets for Tools, etc!!!, No Padding,

Experience:   If you like the simple things in life this is your bag. No extra amenities and unless you are getting it at a discount price, there are other sacks that have more options for the price. I own this bag from a giveaway otherwise i would not own it.

"Good for intended purpose" 10/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Sleeve Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  protects board from pavement, has plenty of room inside,
  • Cons:  no padding,

Experience:   I just received this bag in the mail today. I won it from a giveaway a few weeks ago. Ordered it tuesday night and arrived on Thursday. This bag seems like it is made of very nice nylon material. Obviously don't purchase this bag expecting to be able to travel by plane or anything with. This bag would probably be good for use on long car rides to and from the mountain.

"Storage bag" 9/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Sierra Sleeve Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Price,

Experience:   Got this bag free with a board I purchased. I definitely would not take this on a plane or anywhere your board will get thrown around. There is absolutely no padding to speak of and no pockets to store any extra gear. This bag would be good for storing your board over the summer or when you aren't using it.
