"Ears don't hurt" 12/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Skulcandy GI Headphones
  • Pros:  ears don't hurt when wearing, no outside noise,
  • Cons:  sound quality is alright,

Experience:   I don't have this exact style but I do own one of these. I use it on and off. It's actually quiet heavy but it doesn't bug you much when you use it. You also don't hear almost any outside noise either which is nice.

"Not recommended. " 1/11/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skulcandy GI Headphones
  • Pros:  Look nice., Sound is alright., comfortable.
  • Cons:  Flimsy., Break.,

Experience:   The sound quality is over all pretty mediocre which for $70 isn't bad but this is my second pair and just like the first pair the frame breaks in the exact same spot. These are too expensive to be breaking like this I am not rich to keep buying headphones only to keep breaking. This is my last pair. I cant see buying a third pair only to have them break like this and be charged the price I paid for them, Its not fair to the consumer to take a loss and you profit from poor shotty craftsmanship and labor. I would sugest spending a little extra and getting something a little bit better. I'm spreading the word on facebook/twitter. avoid this product.

"Solid and sick look. " 4/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skulcandy GI Headphones
  • Pros:  Nice padding, sick style, Comfortable, covers ear well and warm., Good sound and base, esp. for loud music.
  • Cons:  bit heavy, ok sound quality,

Experience:   It's my snowboarding head phone. Got it becuz of the style. It's just sick looking. The ear padding is nice and comfortable. It keeps my ears warm when I am on the slope. The sound is nice especially when I am listen music with strong beats. But it doesn't have sound cancelling and blocking noise from outside. So I only use it on snowboarding cuz I dont' wanna block all the noise outside and lost my senses to the surroundings. The headphone might be a bit bulky and heavy for some. But I love it.
