"Buds" 3/28/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Riot Ear Buds
  • Pros:  Loud, have multiple rubber tips, Sound Great, Long chord
  • Cons:  Long chord (wire breaks in the casing),

Experience:   Okay these headphones sound GREAT, like most skull candies. The problem with these, as well as all skull candies is the cable. It is long so if you have long pockets it is perfect, but I am 6' 2 and I'm saying the cable is too long, something's wrong there... So I have to wrap the chord around my ipod so it isn't falling out and getting caught on crap... WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT WRAP THIS OR ANY SKULL CANDIES AROUND AN IPOD. I had the headphones for 2 months, and then after wrapping the headphones, the left earbud went dead because the copper wiring under the casing tore, so yeah that's the major problem with these..

"Good quality, fall out easily" 1/21/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Riot Ear Buds
  • Pros:  Good sound quality, Comfortable in ears, Don't hurt
  • Cons:  Fall out of ears very easily,

Experience:   These earbuds are great for casual use, like staying around your house or other uses that don't involve much movement. These do NOT work for snowboarding, unless you like cold hands. They fall out of your ears very easily when snowboarding, and you can't very easily re-insert them without taking your gloves off so they shouldn't be on a snowboarding website.

"Skull Candy Buds" 7/17/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Riot Ear Buds
  • Pros:  Sound Quality, Fit,
  • Cons:  Wire Length, Durability,

Experience:   The buds look and sound great when you first buy them. The rubber chord is nice because it doesn't get all distorted and twisted like some other buds I've used. The chord is however a little longer than I would like and I find it too easy to snag on things. This has created a bit of an issue with durability. I use these when I workout and after only 3 weeks of use they are starting to have a little issue with the sound going out in one of the buds. The chord just isn't sturdy enough to have prolonged use with these during physical activities. These would be great for just your basic casual lounging around buds, but I would avoid them if you plan on using them for snowboarding/running/working out/etc. I bought them because the price was right, but after they go out (which I don't think will be very long from now) I will go back to another pair of 2XL buds like I had before these.

"I love my SkullCandy Riot Earbuds" 5/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Riot Ear Buds
  • Pros:  Sounds like you have full headphones on, Feels like nothings there.,

Experience:   First off I love skull candy headphones, would never buy any other brand. The advantage of ear buds for me are that they fit under my helmet and beanie when im riding and they deliver such great sound quality that you can zone out everything else around you and just focus on your runs.

"Good quality but not very comfortable" 1/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Riot Ear Buds
  • Pros:  Price, Stylish, Quality
  • Cons:  Not comfortable,

Experience:   Well they actually stay well if you use correct size for your year. Sound quality seems really good but for some reason my ears get tired after about 2 hours of having these on. Most other headphones work fine and never had problems.

"ok. no better, no worse." 1/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Riot Ear Buds
  • Pros:  sounds great, looks great,
  • Cons:  hard to get in with gloves, becomes loose, the wire tangles easily

Experience:   I liked these headphones while ive had them, but they broke when the wire caught onto a desk at school and when i got up the wire tore off from the jack. I used them for snowboarding a couple times but they kept falling out after a while and everytime i had to take off my gloves and freeze. I also had to keep pushing them back in my ears which 70% of the time i ended up having to take off my gloves again. these are good headphones if you are going to use them for casual use but not for snowboarding.
