Skullcandy Says: A pair of mini-subwoofers against your skull makes the bass feel like a swarm attack by the renegades of funk, soldiers of Jah, hip hop nation, and the 1970 version of the Kiss Army, all at once. So, no. Skull crusher is not just a clever name.

Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Skullcrushers
  • Pros:  they are really comfy. They sound it decent too. They bump for phones of this size and price.
  • Cons:  the sub woofer dosnt sound great on all type of music, but you can turn it up and down so it works pretty nice.

Experience:   The block out the sound of things around you so they work great for airplanes or any where with a loud environment.

"Very Nice Headphones!" 10/5/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Skullcrushers
  • Pros:  Great sound quality, blocks out outside noise,
  • Cons:  They get hot on your ears after like an hour,

Experience:   I love these headphones! At first i bought the lowrider headphones from skull candy but those were not doing it for me so i broke down and bought a pair of these about a week later. My biggest problem with the lowriders were they were very loose on my head. These things latch on to your head great and you can barely hear whats going on around you with these on. Great for listening to music or watching a movie on you computer, you wont be bothered if you have these on. I tried on every type of headphone they had at my local best buy before getting these and I would say for the price these are getting the best quality out of everything i tried.

"Excellent boarding headphones" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Skullcrushers
  • Pros:  GREAT bass, Comfortable, price
  • Cons:  design, outside noise level,

Experience:   One of my best buds I ride with has these and I've tried them out on more than one occasion. First impression: Awesome bass. If you like techno/hip-hop, these are great. They are also pretty comfortable if you wear them over your beanie. Furthermore, you can lift one side over your ear and leave the other side over that ear so you can hear what's going on outside. I'm not a huge fan of the coloring/design of these headphones but that is just my personal conservative taste. Another thing to note is that if you pump up the volume, people in close proximity will be able to hear the music. In conclusion I don't own these but I have used them multiple times and I would definitely buy them if my current ones broke.

"It'S AMAZING DAWG" 11/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Skullcrushers
  • Pros:  amazing while snowboarding, great bass, comfortable to use
  • Cons:  a little expenisve but not to much,

Experience:   one of the best headphones I have ever used the bass and the sound clarity is just amazing and the comfort is also really good. When snowboarding I prefer these over my beats because these in my opinion have better sound quality .

"KaBoom!" 11/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Skullcrushers
  • Pros:  serious bass, cool looks, solid built
  • Cons:  heavy, battery powered,

Experience:   If you like some bump in your ears then these are a must. Over all, any type of music will benefit from them. Although heavy rock or hip hop sound great. The interesting thing I found was that they work really well for gaming. I used them on MW2 for the 360 and I thought a grenade had gone off in my head. Give them a try if you want solid sound at a cheap price.

"Amazing" 10/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Skullcrushers
  • Pros:  Bass is AMAZING, great sound quality, tough i think
  • Cons:  sound isolating (could be a pro), battery is rather necessary ,

Experience:   When mine worked, they sounded amazing and bass rocked my socks. However, the pair i had was defective and clipped severely unless the plug was in at a certain rotation. Worth the money i would say. Just dont expect to hear anything else besides the amazing sounding tunes
