"The masses have been high on these lil smokies for 3 years now. This year’s crop is no different. In terms of quality and price, Smokin Buds leave non-Skullcandy ear buds dazed and confused. And style? Forget about it!"

"Broke =(" 10/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Nice looking, Price, Bass
  • Cons:  Broke, Haven't figured out SkullCandy warranty,

Experience:   I have the black/white version of the SkullCandy Smokin Buds, received from my girlfriend. They were great when I had them - it could drown out outside sound when I wanted to (that's something I try to look for in earbuds), good bass, and I was overall pleased with it. 2 weeks ago, the part that you insert into the ear (plastic and rubber together) broke off and thus I couldn't insert one bud into my ear. Sound still comes out of what remains of the earbud, but I can't use it when I'm outside or else I will be constantly putting it back into my ear. I think SkullCandy is in the process of revamping their website for warranty concerns (at least the last time I tried it) so I haven't been able to submit my warranty claim. If anyone has tried the website out and successfully submitted a warranty claim, please PM me! Overall, I would say it's a decent pair of headphones for the price, but I wouldn't say it's one of my more durable sets of headphones.

"New headphones!" 3/7/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Nice Bass, Good look to them, Sound Clarity
  • Cons:  Don't fit well under helmet.,

Experience:   I got these as new headphones and handed the old ones down to my brother. They work and sound great. My only complaint is that with my helmet on, the headphones tend to get pushed into my ears more than I would like, which makes them a little uncomfortable. Overall great headphones but maybe not the best riding headphones.

"Smokin!" 1/28/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Good Sound, Inexpensive, Durable
  • Cons:  Hopefully it won't break quickly like the inkd,

Experience:   Got these smokin' buds for a really good price so no complaints there. These buds have a really good sound and surprisingly you actually get a more for what you pay. There's a whole ton of different colors too which is a plus. I'm just hoping these won't break as quickly as the inkd buds.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  not bad for the price, good sound, good warranty
  • Cons:  a little fragile,

Experience:   I have owned 2 pairs of these and like them. They are good for the price. I recommend getting the ear buds w/ the paracord rather than the rubber/ plastic. They R a lot more durable. Good warranty program!

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Cheap, good sound clarity, looks good,
  • Cons:  uncomfortable in ears, fall out sometimes,

Experience:   i got these headphones two years ago because they were cheap. They have good sound clarity and all but i found them uncomfortable in my ears and you have to push them in deep for them to stay in. I personally prefer the normal apple earphones.

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Cool Colors, Durable, Good Sound
  • Cons:  Buds come off easily, Hurts a little,

"do the job well" 2/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  confortable fit, sound quality is decent, cancel out outside noise
  • Cons:  fall outta my ears sometimes, can't hear my friends when these are in :),

Experience:   i have these headphones and i definitely like them. they are soft and comfortable and you can usually find them for a good price. the quality of sound is better than stock headphones in my opinion, and they do cancel out outside noise way better than stock headphones. the only thing i dont like is that they sometimes fall out of my ears when im riding.

"Not Bad!" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Good Sound Quality, Nice colors,
  • Cons:  Rubber Bud Comes off Easy, Break Easy,

Experience:   These are good sound quality head phones and were worth the money to buy them until they started to fall apart. The buds fall off very easily and they are a pain to keep putting on. They also break easily along the wire if you don't take care of them. But if you take good care of them they are great headphones and they speakers won't blow. These headphones are a good buy as long as you don't trash them then they will break easily
