Sierra Says: Whether you are zonin' on a chairlift or riding shotgun eating ice cream sandwiches and Doritos while pondering the meaning of life, the Smoking Buds will provide unsurpassed sound quality and comfort.

Skullcandy Says: Smokin Buds are not the musical journey itself. They're more like the ticket top the ride. Or an enjoyable travel companion who brought an extra super comfy pillow and blanket just for you. Or a friendly little sprite who lives in your ear, delivering mind bending dots and loops to your brain while making sure your eye's don't wander odd in two different directions while he buffalos your skull. What ever they are, they sound delicious.

"Ok sound but kinda cheap" 10/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds
  • Pros:  cheap, ok sound,
  • Cons:  cheaply made (they broke), tinny sound compared to my zagg buds,

Experience:   For the time i had these and the purpose i used them for they were good i didnt expect them to last a long time considering i was using them at the gym and biking. the sound is ok for the price, but they are by no means awesome sounding, on the other hand i would not want to use $100+ earphones while exposing them to potential damage.

"Good for the Money" 9/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds
  • Pros:  Good Sound, Decent Bass, Graphics are sick
  • Cons:  a little flimsy construction,

Experience:   Just got these about a month ago. So far so good enjoying them very much and you can't go wrong for the price. I'm very careful with my stuff so it's still in good shape. Otherwise I can see that the construction is a little flimsy looking. Let's see how it will hold up during a sesh on the mountain.

"Not so great" 11/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds
  • Pros:  Cool colors,
  • Cons:  Fit, Sound quality,

Experience:   I bought these earphones on a whim and was pretty disappointed. They are cheaply made. Even with the extra ear pieces, I could not find one that would stay in my ear. I've never had that problem before. I would say the sound quality is comparable to $6 earphones. Honestly the only good thing about these is the variety of colors.

"Overpriced for what it's worth.." 11/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds
  • Pros:  Good base, Sound control, Blocks outside pretty well
  • Cons:  Comes out of ear easily, Breaks easily, Not weather proof

Experience:   I bought these to wear around town. It rains a lot in Seattle, and one time in a downpour, the buds got wet and just stopped working right on the spot. Before this happened they wouldn't stay in my ear for more than 30 seconds without me having to push them back into my ear. I don't recommend these to anyone, as they are pretty cheaply made.

"Okay" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds
  • Pros:  Cheap, Good sound,
  • Cons:  They break, not snow proof,

Experience:   These headphones are pretty cheap and the sound is decent. I don't recommend using these for snowboarding however since their sound get's completely messed up if you get some snow in the earpiece. My other headphones were fine once I dried them but these ones had permanent sound distortion after a tiny bit of snow got into the earpiece. Also they tend to split down the middle sometimes.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Skullcandy Smokin Buds
  • Pros:  bass, price, colors
  • Cons:  brittle...?,

Experience:   Used these headphones for over a year, great sound for the price, very many colors to suit your styles. These should last years on end as long as you don't step ob them too many times.
