Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  They get the job done, comfy,
  • Cons:  dark , ventilation,

Experience:   I used these at Mt.Washington and...they were alright, it was a very cloudy day so a bit dark but there was also ice pellets so it was a relief to get some protection!!

"Not great." 9/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  Cheap,
  • Cons:  Fogs, Flimsy, Not the widest view

Experience:   These are ok if you are only ever planning to go to the snow once and never again, otherwise don't buy them, yeah they are very cheap but thats because they offer nothing in the way of cutting out the glare, offering a wide view, feeling comfortable and they feel like they might break at any minute. And whatever you do don't let them get wet or you will be wiping the fog away all day.

"Very Basic Goggles" 7/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  they are goggles, they do what there should, nothing special
  • Cons:  not much venting, when dark out it's harder to see,

Experience:   These goggles are for beginners first. If you don't like the orange tint then these might not be for you. If you don't know they are not that bad. They will last you a few season's.

"Smith Challenger" 6/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  Cheap, good first goggle,

Experience:   These were the first goggles I bought when I first went snowboarding. They are good for a first time goggle because they are cheap and basic. However, once you get hooked on the snow you will be after a better pair. The foam surrounding the goggle, I found deteriorated rather quickly.

"Okay beginner's goggles" 11/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  Cheap,
  • Cons:  Not durable, Foggy, Weird tint

Experience:   I got these for my son who just started snowboarding. He liked them until he got down the bunny hill a few times and then started to complain about fogginess. With goggles you get what you pay for, and these are no exception. In any case, I ended up getting him the 2010 Smith Gambler, which has been working out well so far. I would discourage anyone from really buying these for your kids.

"Average Kid Goggle" 11/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  Cheap, Not too Big,
  • Cons:  Lens Fog, Hard to Adjust,

Experience:   These are good for a young kids first time although they could be much better. They are small enough to fit smaller faces but the lens fogs up due to a lack of venting. They are also hard to adjust for a smaller head.

"not the best" 10/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  great for budget,
  • Cons:  break easily, fog too easy, not polarized obviously

Experience:   Their not the best goggle, i have had these and in one year i broke them. I usually board for about 40 days a year. I would recommend oakleys or something along those lines
