"most durable goggles I own" 4/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Fuse Goggles Matte Black
  • Pros:  cheap (the price), lens are very scratch resistance, very durable
  • Cons:  not enough bling bling,

Experience:   I purchased these for to use for a weekend when I forgot to bring my goggles. Brought them to every one of my trips ever since. To this day, there is not a scratch on the lenses. I've sat on them, stepped on them by accident, threw them into the washing machine and dryer. They don't break!!! It's cheap enough to keep around as a spare and put some specialized lenses on them. No real cons except they look very basic..

"just as great, half the price" 10/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Fuse Goggles Matte Black
  • Pros:  strap clip, great anti-fog, great looking and cheap
  • Cons:  not for you if you have a wide, muppet nose,

Experience:   I looked at all kinds of goggles that where about 120$ to 160$ and ended up on the fuse because it is the exact same quality as a 200$ pair for like fourty bucks.not to mention that mine (light blue with mirrored lens) look boss. so just to be straight up, if you are looking for a pair of sick goggles that doesnt cost as much as your car payment get the fuses

"You get more than you pay for" 8/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Fuse Goggles Matte Black
  • Pros:  Value, Quality, Availability
  • Cons:  Maybe not the coolest designs,

Experience:   You really are getting a goggle way better than you are paying for. A lot of times these goggles are also discounted which makes em a even better deal. They are durable, The lenses are good and they look pretty good. If you get some of their designed series they do look great too. I'll be using these for the upcoming season too.

Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Smith Fuse Goggles Matte Black
  • Pros:  Fit, Visibility, Comfort
  • Cons:  Fogging,

Experience:   The size, visibility, comfort were all great. But they fogged up continuously regardless of treating with fogging cloth etc. Love the Goggles, but can't deal with the fogging.

Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Fuse Goggles Matte Black
  • Pros:  Durable, Good lens, Helmet suitable

Experience:   It's a good google with additional lens included which can be used during lowlight conditions. It cost the money it sold at sierra. I've bought a pair with different lenses.

"good goggles" 4/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Fuse Goggles Matte Black
  • Pros:  look great, dont fog,

Experience:   Gotta love these Smith Fuse goggles! Dual lens, just enough ventilation, never fog, fit great, quick release in back for helmet, and a rad pattern to boot. Great goggles for substantially less than what you'd pay with other brands and/or retailers.

"Nice Goggle for all most conditions" 4/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Smith Fuse Goggles Matte Black
  • Pros:  Price and Value,
  • Cons:  Fit,

Experience:   I used the ignitor mirror lens everyday this season (I rode at least 100 days in Tahoe) and it worked well under all light conditions. I'm not saying it's the best, but it worked. If you're only going to have one lens. The ignitor lens will do. The one complain I have about it is the gap it had above my nose. I had to make self adjustments by sowing parts padding on the nose area.

"Smith Fuse Regulator" 3/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Smith Fuse Goggles Matte Black
  • Pros:  Fit well with helmet, Tons of colors, Replaceable lenses
  • Cons:  Tints are dark,

Experience:   I have some Smith Fuse Regulators that replaced a very old pair of Smiths I have had for 10+ years. These goggles are very comfortable and wear well with a helmet. I really like how easy it is to change lenses depending on conditions. That said, the lenses mine came with were really too dark for low light conditions. During light fog and heavy overcast days the tint was too much for me to really see the terrain well. I would recommend getting an additional lense with a very light tint if you plan to do a lot of riding in overcast or night conditions.
