"Good fit for Asian faces" 11/21/2012
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Spy Targa II Goggles
  • Pros:  Snug fit around the face, Works well with low nose bridge (asian fit-ish),
  • Cons:  Small Field of Vision,

Experience:   These fit Small to Medium faces. Works well with small faces. Has the gel rubber stuff in the back of the strap to hold the goggle in place. Fit nicely with my RED helmet, no gaps or hard contacts between the goggle and helmet. Since the goggles are so small, the helmet doesn't push the goggles down on my face. These goggle's field of vision is lacking a bit. Compared to my Smith goggles, I can see the nose part of the frame 90% of the time--I hardly notice that on my Smith. If you put both of your arms up and extend them away from each other to the side of your body at a 180 degrees, these goggles can only see 160 degrees of vision (so that's -10 degrees on each side at the corner of your eyes.) I didn't noticed any fogging. If you're just starting out, get these! I paid retail because I forgot to pack my goggles. Right now, for a mere $20 it's worth buying, even as a backup. Also, get persimmon lenses it's a good all' rounder for all condition.

"good for price, not designed for helmets" 12/20/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Spy Targa II Goggles
  • Pros:  snug fit, anti fogging, comfortable to wear
  • Cons:  strap not very long, not really compatible with helmets,

Experience:   I purchased these hoping they would perform well on the mountain. They did very well except for a few things. Lenses are not interchangeable, but what else can you expect from 40 dollar goggles? They're worth the money, so if youre looking for something not too expensive then these are for you.

"Good Goggles for the price!" 12/16/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Spy Targa II Goggles
  • Pros:  Sturdy Construction, Nice Lens, Comfortable Foam
  • Cons:  Loosen Up easy, Range of view,

Experience:   Took these to the mountain on saturday for the first time. They performed pretty well. When i took them out of the box to examine them i noticed they were pretty sturdy, conformed to your face nicely. I liked the foam it was very comfortable and wicked away moisture just like the description said. I sometimes found them loosening up while they were on my head... sometimes when i fell they would fly off my head. and id notice they were very loose. i also noticed that the field of vision isnt as good as it could be. I would say i was getting a 155 degree view. I didnt have any issues with fogging, and that is very important to almost every rider. Then lens i picked was nice and dark. Deflected the suns rays nicely. Overall im very happy with this goggle and will get me through this season until i have some more cash to get something a little more expensive and better quality.

"Tight on nose" 12/14/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Spy Targa II Goggles
  • Pros:  Quality materials,
  • Cons:  pinches the nose,

Experience:   I really like these goggles! Its just too bad that they cut off the air to my sinuses. I have a long and narrow face and these make it really hard to breathe through the nose. Might be better for someone with a normal to wide face? For the price these goggles are great. They are made of quality materials and seem like they will last.

"Solid Entry Level Goggle" 11/10/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Spy Targa II Goggles
  • Pros:  Flexible, Good Fit, No Fogging
  • Cons:  Ordinary Looking,

Experience:   I picked up a pair of the white Targa II's last season. I was just looking for an ordinary looking goggle to get the job done, and these goggles did just that. It fits my face well, and the adjustable strap accommodates my large head well. The goggles look clean and sharp, but aren't as flashy as some of the other goggles on the market. I have never had any problems with these goggles fogging up. The goggles also come with a protective bag and a lens cloth. Overall, it is a solid goggle that serves its purpose.
