Likes: I appreciate Stepchild's slightly irreverent approach to the industry. They make a great range of boards, so there's pretty much something there for everyone.

Likes: love the company. i own 2 jibsticks. favorite boards ive ridden by far. one jibstick lasted me 2 years of pounding before it had to be retired. these boards are not made in china. jp walker is the man and always has been. i put my trust in this company and their products. if you buy a low end board dont expect to be thrilled.

Dislikes: how underrated of a company they are.

Likes: Stepchild made some serious moves in the late 00's when they signed JP Walker and Simon Chamberlain to their team that truly stepped up their game. They added the Jibstick and Powder Sucks boards to their line which are serious boards not to be taken lightly. Primarily focused on their park boards, Stepchild makes some of the most fun boards I've ever tried (I currently on the Powder Sucks '12) Constantly on the good wood list, Stepchild is a great board company. Certainly reasonably priced as well.

Dislikes: Not much doing with the company besides park boards. All mountain boards leave something to be desired.

Likes: A wrote a review earlier on stepchild, this is a bit of a follow up. My current stepchild (chi-borg) is not very impressive at all. Retails for around $450 I believe, nothing really stands out on it. My burton blunt rode much better and was cheaper.

Dislikes: Not very durable, nothing over the top amazing as far as I know.

Likes: I like the team. These boards certainly seem to be targeting much more of a freestyle demographic than what I personally do when I'm out on the mountain (and the team usually seems to be street riding rails or whatever), but nonetheless this is a variety I appreciate and I enjoy watching them throw down on video.

Likes: Stepchild snowboards bring it how it should have been brought from day one. They don't stress over the artificial side of the industry, but focus on the essentials, riding, and more riding. They take what they know, the only thing they know, snowboarding and utilize this knowledge to bring you a top of the line ride. Eternal Snow presents a selection of unique get ups that Stepchild has to offer this season. Pure passion is what Stepchild snowboards and clothing bring, just read below.

Likes: Not a lot of people seem to look at Stepchild. I'd consider it as one of the top, without all the hype. *ehem burton* Stepchild puts good boards out there. Thumbs up for this line.

Dislikes: Not very popular. Maybe this is a good thing since it's not the everyday board you see.

Likes: After owning 2 Stepchild boards I would say they are an outstanding company. Not many people on the mountain have it so it definitely stands out in a good way. I always receive compliments. Boards are made in Austria. They have an awesome team and are always putting out good videos and edits.

Dislikes: Underrated or unknown.
