"Buy them!!" 2/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  no optical distortion, don't get foggy, fit around my helmet
  • Cons:  didn't come with other lens', headphones are huge,

Experience:   I got these free with a seirrascope a couple of months ago and have ridden with them in both sunny and white out blizzard conditions... the blue ones with the slightly yellow lens' and skullcandy headphones.* They fit around my Giro helmet no problem and the rubber on the strap keeps them from moving when I'm slamming into the snow. The only problem is that if your helmet has ear covers, the headphones won't fit unless they can be detached. I use the goggles without the headphones (because the Giro had them built in) and love them. There is no distortion or tunnel vision like my old goggles and I have no problems with vision with them. *The headphones are actually kinda good on their own and come with a head bracket so you can use them without the goggles. They have this bass boost thing on the headphone line that takes its own AA battery where it makes the headphones vibrate with the bass. A little distracting on the hill, but for just sitting around or on the plane they're not bad.

"great goggles" 4/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  great vision, nice reflective lens,
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   the goggles are amazing, i've falling quite a few times on my face and every time so far i'm shocked to find that there aren't any scratches. the skull candies are really cool too, i've tried riding with them and they work fine, only thing is when you fall, it could get a tossed off your head pretty easily. great feature about the headphones also is that they fold very nicely and fit easily in your jacket. gets a little hot sometimes wearing them over your ears so i just wear them off the mountain, once you put them on, you can't really hear anyone yelling watch out, so be careful.

"Awesome goggle" 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  wide vision, don't fog, very comfy, sick design, great value
  • Cons:  headphones are big when it's on the goggle, but it's great by itself!,

Experience:   I have a large face and this goggle fits me perfectly! The big lens gives me very good peripheral vision. I'm even able to leave my glasses on. The headphones are too bulgy with the goggle and it doesn't fit too well with the helmet. But it's great by itself, it came with headband and can be easily adjusted. Headphones only work with battery and it has very good deep bass. It's a great goggle and in a unbelievable price. It came with a bronze chrome, great for most conditions(except at night).

"Feenom Legit Kit" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Quality, value,
  • Cons:  box says interchangeable goggle strap included, , but mine did not have an extra strap,

Experience:   I got the Syncro Royal Legit kit with the skullcrusher headphones. The description doesn't say, but the lens is bronze chrome, perfect for bright sunny days. The Feenoms also say they are not made to fit over glasses, but they do if your glasses are on the small side, and you can still take off the goggles without taking your glasses off with them. The nose fits nice without being too snug and restricting breathing. The headphones attached to the goggle strap don't work well if your helmet has ear pads, but used without a helmet or with the included headband (easy to snap off the clips and change)the sound is amazing. Very crisp with deep base using the inline adjuster. Much better than my Full Metal Jackets, and much better than you would expect attached to a pair of goggles. They are also so lightweight you hardly know you have them on. Two great products for one great price, you will not go wrong with this kit.

"Great pair of googles" 4/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Flat top, Articulating hinge, General design

Experience:   These goggles are great. The points where the strap attaches to the goggles are actually hinges which can move so when you wear it with a helmet the straps line up with the curvature of the helmet. And although the lens is of spherical design, another plus, the top is flat meaning if you've got a helmet with a brim that sticks out it sits flat on the goggles. I have the Royal bronze pair and the chrome is 95% reflective. Good for all but the worst of conditions.

"Great goggle" 3/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Very nice design, Wide range, Very comfortable to wear
  • Cons:  SS just selled 1 colour, Earphones don't fit with my helmet,

Experience:   These goggles are of supreme quality and have look awesome, I have used this one for the last week and I are really convinced about the superiority of this. The looks are awesome and with the skullcandy headphone you just rush trough the park. The only thing that is very dissapointing is that Sierrasnowboard only sells 1 color but I might be interested in other colours. But besides of that this one is a really state of the art goggle.

"Believe the Hype?" 2/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Big, Good View, Good Colours
  • Cons:  Fragile,

Experience:   Picked up a pair of these a few weeks back, pretty common goggles on my home mountain. Lens come in a range of colours, the clear/blue if great for seeing on an over cast day. There too big for my head, however I dont get fogging problems. The only downside to these is the quailty isnt the best, Lens scratch easily and Ive already cracked one of the hinges after one fall, which was on a groomed run at slow speed.

"A new world" 2/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  No fog, Huge field of vision,
  • Cons:  Harder than I'd like to get replacement lenses,

Experience:   These are my first goggles that didn't come out of the $10 bin at an end-of-season sale at a big-box store so there may be equally good goggles out there but these are the best I have ever used. Zero fogging (and this is with a skullcap and helmet partially - if not mostly - blocking the top of the goggles). Great field of vision. The goggles fit easily over my glasses and unlike some smaller goggles I have worn - where it is hard to remove the goggles without taking your glasses too - these are easy to remove as well. I don't know that I would have bought these at retail price but at 30% off (or free with the Sierra Crew - how I got them) I can 100% recommend these.
