"keeps the feet toasty & dry" 3/16/2012

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Rodeo Socks
  • Pros:  affordable, cushion well on the toes and back heel, warm
  • Cons:  doesn't do to well in machine wash, easily overstretches ,stitching starts to tear ,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  a mitten for your feet

Experience:   I started using these socks after i had problems with cold feet during riding,I was using regular socks that were too thin and kept making my feet slide around in my prion boots, these socks keep my feet more stable and alleviated some pressure points i had in the toe area and heel and sure enough kept my feet warm during cold weather conditions and on sunny days the sock wasn't over powering with heat so no sweaty feet here.I would wash these by hand because i notice they were fading a bit and the socks were losing there elasticity.there a decent pair of socks for considering what the price is.

"Quick drying" 11/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Rodeo Socks
  • Pros:  inexpensive, warm,
  • Cons:  short,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Fit well but the length was an inch too short.

Experience:   These socks are great, but my only gripe is, the length going up the calf was about an inch too short for me. This may not be a huge problem if you can deal with the abrasion of your boot liner. I should've got a L instead of a M. The only other problem I had was that when my foot sweated a lot in them, there was black thread or lint like residue on my foot when taking them off. Otherwise these socks kept me dry and warm, and they dry rather quickly also, after I took my boot off thinking my feet would be super clammy for a 5 minutes, these socks were dry in less than a minute. They are cushioned and the bottom of the foot, and the top in comparison is thinner, which is great for breathability. I found the sock to be a lightweight which works nicely in slush conditions and fine when it gets to the 30s too.
