"Almost the perfect sock" 11/27/2012
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Sirocco Socks
  • Pros:  warm, comfortable, Perfect thickness/thinness
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  I wear a 9.5 shoe and an 8.5 boot. The Medium fits perfectly

Experience:   Wigwam makes great socks and these are no exception. Although the padding looks really cool on these socks, they don't really do that much. These socks are, however, comfortable, super dry, and not too tight on the calf. The only thing I would prefer, is if these were a tad bit thinner. They're not overly thick, I just prefer a thinner sock while boarding. This is my fourth pair of wigwams and I prefer these and smartwool socks to Burton socks.

"Warm!" 4/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Sirocco Socks
  • Pros:  Warm, Thin, Light
  • Cons:  Tears/Rips easily,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Just Right

Experience:   I love these socks. I use them whenever I go to a place cold (ex. top of a mountain maybe?) They keep your feet warm and dry. No need for foot warmers. They are thin as well so they wont put any unnecessary pressure on your foot if your boot is an odd fit for your foot. The only issue with these socks is they are not very durable like other socks. But I wouldnt worry too much about that.

"Sirocco A+ warmness" 1/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Sirocco Socks
  • Pros:  thick & warm, cushions , true sizing
  • Cons:  logo stitching,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  comfy cushion warmness

Experience:   These are by far much warmer than the burton socks I've had in previous years. These are a lot thicker with nice cushion areas around the heel toes and provide lots of warmth. Overall design is nice, only minor logo stitching blurred but its on the side of the foot which no one would really see any ways.

"Comfy and warm" 3/24/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Sirocco Socks
  • Pros:  Warm, Comfortable,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • Description:  A bit snug

Experience:   I purchased these socks after riding for years with just regular everyday socks. Rode anywhere from single digit weather to over 40* F. Socks we comfortable and my feat/toes never got cold. Socks held up well after a season of riding, hopefully I have several more years out of them. I wasn't sold on spending ~$10/pair of socks, but anyone on the fence go for it! I typically wear a size 9.5 which would have put me in the medium or large socks. All that was available was Large so I went with that. Very glad I did, the socks were tight! My legs are not big, so I am not sure how anyone wearing a size 12 or is a larger person would fit into these. If you are on the fence, or even close to the top of the size limits buy the next size up.

"good pair " 2/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Sirocco Socks
  • Pros:  thick bands,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   I wear a size medium in my normal socks, and a size medium is a very similar fit in these. When I first started riding, most of the snowboard socks I owned were thick and padded very heavily. These days, the emphasis is on the boot to provide the warmth, and having a relatively thin, low-profile sock to provide moisture wicking with a comfortable layer that fits snug to prevent chafing or rubbing on the skin. these are made in this style and work as promised

"Wigwam socks" 1/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Sirocco Socks
  • Pros:  Thick material, Warm,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Stretchy

Experience:   Wigwam socks are really thick socks. The material is thick so you can stretch it out if you need to really fit your feet into them. I definitely recommend for the cold days since these will keep you warm and keep on riding. I like them comparable to euroski socks.

"Not bad" 1/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Sirocco Socks
  • Pros:  Very warm, fit well, comfortable
  • Cons:  pretty itchy, way too hot for riding on warmer days,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Tight and snug

Experience:   I bought these socks a little while ago, and while they are very comfortable and keep my feet warm, they start to feel itchy about halfway through the day. I mainly ride in Virginia, and they are way too hot for most days here. When the weather is in the teens, they are perfect, but anything from 29 or 30 degrees and up they get extremely hot.
