"good socks= priceless" 12/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  warm, stay put, breathe
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL

Experience:   great socks that go above my snowboarding boot so it adds a little bit of padding. i usually carry an extra pair in my pants, backpack, or car just so if they start to get wet. have older boots so if yours have seen a few seasons its good to have backup socks. sometimes i layer them to keep my feet warm, i'd rather have really hot feet than totally numb feet.

Experience:   These fit you nice and snug, and most importantly they stay warm and dry. I sweat alot, but with these bad boys, socks don't get wet therefore my liners don't get wet, which means no stinky boots!

"Good thin sock" 11/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  great for warmer days, wicks moisture very well, does not bunch
  • Cons:  not too warm, thinner than expected,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Stretches to fit

Experience:   I really like these socks, but reserve them for warmer days. They fit well. Initially, they appear small for the size, but stretch to fit very well. The fabric is thin but strong. One thing I love about these is that they won't bunch up in your boots. The fabric is great at wicking moisture and they have yet to start smelling. I'm very happy with these socks, but don't think I'll use them for night boarding or really cold days.

"great quality" 8/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  Comfy, Snug fit, warm

Experience:   Great price and a really good quality pair of socks, i own burton pais but they dont compare to the basic comfort and practicality of these socks, they dont rub or start to smell quick and they do the job well.

"Nice Thin Sox - just how they should be" 8/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  Thin, Strong, Quality materials and Construction
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Good fit

Experience:   These socks are great. Nice and long. A snowboard sock should be thin, and this is just that. A thin sock lets you fit into the smallest boot possible, to give you the fit that the boot was intended for.

  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L

Experience:   These are some great socks, I've worn them back to back days without much smell or sweat. They are more comfy then most of my burton socks, and seem of higher quality, oh yeah and they fit perfectly... They also look cool!

"good socks, esp for the price" 7/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  inexpensve,
  • Cons:  not as comfortable as some other options,

Experience:   a lot of people overlook socks when they ride, but a good pair of socks can add a significant amount of comfort to a long day of boarding. these socks are certainly better than wearing just regular ol' socks, but personally i like the Wigwam Snow Glades a bit better.

"Lighter super fit socks" 7/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  light weight, water repelling is very good, seamless toe closure is a plus
  • Cons:  not as warm, padding is minimum,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Light socks for tighter fit boots

Experience:   X2O Acrylic and Olefin really do what they are intended to - your feet will be dry in these. The socks are light weight with comfortable seamless toe closure so for a tight fit boot that will work very good for you. Comparing these to Snow Glade Pro or Xenon Pro socks these really have no padding other than the sole part. So in general these socks are not for those who are cold resistant or in action all the time.

SVS
the last sentence should really be "So in general these socks ARE for those who are cold resistant or in action all the time."

"Great Socks, Not Such a Great Fit" 5/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  warm, fit calf nicely, price
  • Cons:  not a perfect fit to my foot,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  I am a size 10 so I am on the border between M and L socks. I got the large size and they were a little big (as expected).

Experience:   I can't really complain much about these socks even though they did not fit me perfectly. I did not expect them to fit perfectly because I am at the lower end of the sizing spectrum. Otherwise these were a very affordable and warm pair of socks. I actually liked the color scheme as well.
