This board features many technological advancements while still allowing room for learning. This is an ideal board for anyone just starting out snowboarding or even for someone just wanting to take it to the next level.

Features
Lightspeed Vision Base : easy, low maintenance base that also allows for superior images.
Biax React Fiberglass : a relaxed fiberglass that will allow you to try bigger jumps and stomp those new tricks
Sidewall Construction :
Negative Core Profile : thinner core in the middle and outside of the board which results in more flex making it a great park/freestyle board.
Fly Core : This is what sets apart Burton beginner boards from other companies. They still use their classic wood core, but it gets the job done. It improves board feel, flex and durability.
Dualzone EGD™ :
Slightly Tapered Shape:

Tech Specs 154 159 164
Effective Edge 1207.5 mm 1260 mm 1300 mm
Waist Width 256 mm 260 mm 262 mm
Nose Width 303.1 mm 309.1 mm 312.5 mm
Tail Width 298.1 mm 304.1 mm 306.5 mm
Sidecut Depth 22.3 mm 23.3 mm 23.75 mm
Sidecut Radius 7.55 m 7.87 m 8.24 m
Weight Range 120-170 lbs 140-200+ lbs 160-210+ lbs

Review from fellow rider #1: 4 of 5 stars
I have a 2003 Burton Bullet 167. I got it this last Christmas from my Mom. Sadly, the season has been pretty crappy here in the NW. It's the third driest winter on record! But my roommate and I made it up to the mountain (Mt. Hood Meadows) like 4 or 5 times. I went once with my girlfriend too.

I was very excited to try my board out. I've been very pleased with my Burton Bullet. I've been on ice, packed snow, and powder with it. It's performed great in all conditions. I haven't grinded anything with it yet though. But I have done 180s & 360s with it. There's enough flex to do tricks but enough stiffness to bomb down the mountain. The Bullet is an all-mountain board which means it was designed to handle anything you can throw at it.

My only complaint about the board is that it's a little on the heavy side. But for less than $300, I can't complain!

The reason I chose the Bullet is because it's made for those of us with big feet (10.5+). I wear a size 12 boot and with a normal board my toes would hang over the edge of the board which really decreases performance. I haven't had any problem with toe drag with my Bullet.

The tapered (curved) shape of the board increases it's stability while cornering and improves response when you're switching edges. The flex of the board is acceptable but could be improved. I'd like a little more fl

For example, when you have a big foot (sizes 11-15), you need to ride a wide-waist board or else your toes overhang too much. If your toes overhang the edge of the board, then it will be hard to make correct toe and heel side turns without falling. The Burton Bullet is a great option for new snowboarders because its construction is designed to provide a soft and forgiving flex, which helps beginners gain confidence in their turns.

Donald Says: You know what they say about snowboarders with big feet?
