Its gotta be a property of the shtooked up search functionality.  The guy probably searched for "Burton Bullet" and this is the first thread that came up.  If only there was some sort of ordering to the search results based upon timeliness, or relevance, or, well anything.

I find it really hard to believe anyone reads through that many pages of forum titles to dig up an old thread.  I personally never make it past page one for boardroom/geartalk.

I can get pretty far into Classifieds, because I'm on the lookout for new bindings.  If I happen to see something within the first 5-8 pages, maybe I'll PM them... who knows, maybe something good just got overlooked? 

But the others, 1-2 only.

Normally I don't get past what shows up on the community homepage.  I will check geartalk and the funny pictures thread but thats about it.  Other than that, it gets kinda rediculous looking for these really old threads.  I just find it astonishing that people have the time to do this.

Bullet good beginner board to save some dough try to find last year model or like a package deal with bindings. Its a great board, I'm keeping my 10' for the next couple of years. I've heard a lot of people say the same thing about getting a reversed cambered board as well. It just depends on the person, and what you want to do.

For the money, i would pony up alittle more to get something alittle more intermediate like. Even if you are a beginner, you will quickly progress out of this board and probably end up buying a new board the season after.

I have a 2003 Burton Bullet 167. I got it this last Christmas from my Mom. Sadly, the season has been pretty crappy here in the NW. It's the third driest winter on record! But my roommate and I made it up to the mountain (Mt. Hood Meadows) like 4 or 5 times. I went once with my girlfriend too.

I was very excited to try my board out. I've been very pleased with my Burton Bullet. I've been on ice, packed snow, and powder with it. It's performed great in all conditions. I haven't grinded anything with it yet though. But I have done 180s & 360s with it. There's enough flex to do tricks but enough stiffness to bomb down the mountain. The Bullet is an all-mountain board which means it was designed to handle anything you can throw at it.

My only complaint about the board is that it's a little on the heavy side. But for less than $300, I can't complain!

The reason I chose the Bullet is because it's made for those of us with big feet (10.5+). I wear a size 12 boot and with a normal board my toes would hang over the edge of the board which really decreases performance. I haven't had any problem with toe drag with my Bullet.

The tapered (curved) shape of the board increases it's stability while cornering and improves response when you're switching edges. The flex of the board is acceptable but could be improved.
