Just make sure it has the features that you need: tru twin, flex that you're comfortable with; 156cm is probably a good base for your frame (+if you want more speed / - for more of a freestyle feel), & older models will get you more for your $. Most 2011 boards won't have significant improvements vs. the previous model, except for new graphics.
Honestly, you should do some research, check it out in-stores, and then bargain shop online. If anything, it'll make you feel more comfortable about your purchase than going off of a reply.

If you're on a budget, they are probably your best bet. I don't think that you're ever going to see any board for 50% off anywhere. I think Sierra was the only store to price boards at 50% off or more and now that they've changed owners, the most you're going to see is 40% off on select boards.

As far as a recommendation, I've only ridden a few boards out there(and none that you can find now in that price range), but I've heard good things about the Burton Custom. So, if you decide on a Sierra board, I would recommend either the Crew or Reverse Crew.
