I guess I'll answer my own question. It's true. The toe box on this boot is incredibly soft. Got 'em in the mail so I tried 'em on. Very comfortable boot. Sick graphics with Jamie Lynn's signature blue woman. Strapped in to my bindings and sure enough the toe box, more specifically the sides near the big toe and pinky toe, folded in. I ride Raiden Wizards, but I can't see the toe box holding up with any brand of over-the-toe strap. The only binding I can see this boot not having a problem with would be Flows. You might be thinking of over-the-top straps.
