Huh, no kidding!  I just tried it out and you are right!
 
Even though the bar shows 3/9, and my point tracker shows 3 pts, my total point in the upper right def just jumped by 5 pts!!  Yay for that!!

A review gives you five points.  Doesn't matter what that bar says.  Someone never went back and changed the programming on the bar, so when you submit a review it moves to 3/9 points.  No one is being misled, because if you actually look at your points you get five.

But yea, it is one of the many little programming bugs they got that they don't seem to care about fixing.

Hey TS,
 
I found some conflicting information that you may want to correct if it's worth it to you. 
 
Is a Product Review worth 5 pts or onlyl 3 pts?  I can find both on your website, see here:
 
From my profile page, 0 / 9 points implies that each review is worth 3 points.
 
But here it clearly states they are worht 5 pts each:
 
Please don't mislead any more would-be members, and get this corrected as soon as possible.
