i was pretty surprised by this, its pretty amazing that hes stepped into a head coaching role straight away but i guess the man sure does have the experience of playing the game. hes always been some what of a mentor on the court so with the right staff around him, i think he could be a good coach. i wonder if deron williams had a say in the final decision.

no, but i knew it would be a tough match up and then when wade/bosh/allen were all not showing up i was getting very concerned. they played well today, even though bosh wasnt nailing shots, he was getting boards and that was the biggest difference today besides forcing so many turnovers.

I would not be surprised if Lebron goes off tonight for a huge game.  He has probably realized that he will get no help from his frontcourt (Hibbert/West are KILLIN' Bosh/Haslem/Birdman), Wade is clearly hobbled, and Battier/Allen have been terrible. 

so good! it was another great game just not a good result. i had a feeling the pacers were going to steal one yesterday. hopefully the heat can do the same back at indy.

you do realise thats because they won 4-0 and 4-1. their opposition was yet to be decided so obviously they have to wait until that series is finished before they can play again. they dont just have a week off for the sake of ratings.

i dont like the idea of 5 game series, i get where youre coming from but i think the 7 game series really determines that the better team gets through to the next round in the fairest way possible taking into account home and away games.

One thing already lost in all this "should Hibbert been on the floor?" stuff, is that LBJ's move itself was a gerat one.  He blew by one of the best defenders in the league.  If Hibbert was in the game, would he have come crashing out? If so, LaBron may have had some cherity stripe tosses as well.

what a finish. georges 3 at the end of regulation was out of control, i cant believe he nailed those three pressure free throws as well but lebron comes up clutch while hibbert sits on the bench.

too much duncan in ot. spurs let a huge lead slip away but memphis have just not been shooting well this series. theyve got the boards covered but theyre just not dropping the shots.

i cant believe okc lost that game! ibaka was huge in the first half then he went missing. he still put up better numbers than he has been but theyre going to need a miracle to come back now.

huge win, i thought the spurs were actually looking tired towards the end. it was another long game today and with only a days rest until game 5 it will be intersting to see how they back up.

Bulls doin a good job on rebs and playing a strong d against the Heat so far.

bulls/heat is going to be a another very physical game back in chicago, hopefully the heat can out muscle and outplay them once again and come away with a steal.

i was unsure if durant could keep up those kind of numbers game after game but he went for 30+ again, almost came up with a triple double and they still lost. someone else on that team needs to step up otherwise this is going to be all over very quickly.

thats ridiculous, it has absolutely nothing to do with being a stacked team or not, they simply were not the best team on the night so they didnt deserve to win and if the nuggets didnt shoot so badly they wouldve lost. im not saying they dont deserve to be in the 2nd round because i think they do, they adjusted without one of their all stars and still came out on top in a 7 game series so huge wraps to them but you shouldnt be able to turn over that much ball and still come away with the win.

grizz played so well today, huge contributions from their bench especially with randolph and gasol and in foul trouble. i think they can beat okc without westbrook.

hopefully the nets win tomos, i think theyre the easier competition for the heat.

they should have never won that game, very lucky. you shouldnt be able to turn the ball over that many times and still win. if it wasnt for the nuggets woeful shooting (both fg and at the line) they wouldve blown it.... but it doesnt matter how you win, a win is a win and now theyre through to the next round. the spurs will make them pay if they turn the ball over like that again though.

i wonder if lee will actually be able to play minutes in the next round, i still cant believe he made it out there, that was pretty amazing. bogut was an absolute beast tonight too.

A little surprised OKC and NYK having problems closing out their series.  I guess you can chalk it up to Westbrook getting hurt, or the Celtics having too much pride.  I still expect the favorites to pull it out, but more games teams have to play in the playoffs, the more worn down they get as they proceed.

i dont think they were hard fouls. curry has been on fire so of course youre going to rough him up a little bit, you cant let him think he can just make easy baskets the whole night, youve gotta get him out of that comfort zone and thats the only way youre going to slow him down when hes playing the way he is.

i tend to agree with you, unless z bo and gasol get more involved, clippers will run away with it. thunder are going to sweep houston if they dont get anyone else contributing besides harden. nuggets are going to beat a lee-less warriors but i still think lakers have a hope of beating the spurs. looking forward to seeing how the readjust for game 2.

David Lee suffered a complete tear to his right hip flexor and will miss the rest of the season.

what a finish to the nuggets/warriors game. theyre really going to miss lee if he ends up having to sit some games.
