Ultimately its all preference though so you can switch it around and find the stance that suits you.

For example:

Normal riding: normal stance, centered, 15,-9

Muck about buttery day: wide stance (outside holes), 15, -15

Powder day: full setback, normal stance, 21, -6

Just examples of random stances ive mucked about with based on where im comfy riding. Its entirely up to you. and just remember it doesnt really take that long to change it so its not something you should feel is eternal and unchanging. Just have a few runs, find the advantages and disadvantages and work from there what you want to do.

On the issue of powder, the more weight you have sunk in the tail, the more the nose gets to float. So if your weight is over the ass of the board with enough length on the front, yeah, its gonn be harder to sink the nose. :) Hope this helps.

Binding set up on a rocker board- : I have to admit I'm behind...

Am I right in thinking the rocker will lift the nose up out of the powder?

I know I'll end up fiddling with the bindings once I get on the slopes, but I wanted to have an idea of what I should be aiming for before getting out there.

Cheers for any advice guys & gals
