It's always best to check with a staff member during business hours if you have any concerns about your order or the order process. I'm trying to think back to my first international order a long time ago and I think I had to do the same thing. However, to make sure, I called SS (was SS at the time) and spoke to a rep to confirm if it were necessary.

I was wondering if shipping costs were included in the member points program. I just got to the first tier where i earned a t shirt, and added another couple things to my cart. Since shipping MUST be paid when a giveaway item is purchased, my question is: if my order comes to like $28, and shipping brings the total to $35, do i get 6 points or 9 points?

EDIT: I asked Allie and she confirmed that points are awarded just off what you purchase (which in the above example would be 6 points), and shipping is NOT included.

Import duties will range by the value of the product. I'd hazard a guess that it's roughly 10% to 12% of the item value. Shipping will probably be over $60 if you ship it all as one package. Realistically, to avoid trying to save money by not really saving much at all, you should probably be getting your stuff locally in Canada, unless there is a very, very good deal from USA (such as last year's stuff).
