What are the best boots for a narrow foot to keep your ankle from lifting up?

Definitely check out Salomon F series. I have the F24s and most friends ride the F20's or F22's.

I can't comment too much because I have a wider foot, but here is a thread worth reading perhaps:
http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11119&KW=narrow+foot Also, if you find you have issues with heel lift, you can always get yourself a set of J bars. This thread may be helpful too: http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=7413&PID=90923 Happy |

that is pretty much what I was looking for. I had requested something similar at the shop I bought my boots from originally (it was long before I knew of SS) and they told me jbars don't work and tried to put me into a pair of burton ions. They are a nice boot but I would prefer not spend the $350 yet...

Def not necessary to spend $350 on a pair of boots in an effort to avoid heel lift. The Burton Hail $220, Shaun White $250 and Andy Warhol $250 boots by Burton come with removal J-bars, FWIW.

I'll let the board choose the boot for you, but you may want to consider adding some sort of orthopedic support in your boots to help stabilize your foot. We sell Superfeet non-custom footbeds. If you are looking for maximum stabilization, choose the green ones. It has a thicker heel that will decrease the amount of volume in that heel pocket.

dc airbags will eliminate heel lift 100%
![]() it comes stock on the alliances, judges, ghosts, and graphix basically the judge and the ghost are the same boot, but the ghosts are lace ups, and the judges are boa and the graphix are just a softer version of the judges, but still have all the features of the judges and the alliances are just ridiculously expensive and not worth the money try the air liners and you will never wear anything else |
