Yep, they've been saying it in the weather forecasts that it's supposed to snow over 6000 ft tomorrow and Thursday too. I'm SO EXCITED!!!

there was also that huge dump that hit in late February i think. we got like 2 feet in the city (i dog pile you not), ironically very little hit the mountains. i was actually driving back from Jay Peak and then played hookie from work that Monday and built a little kicker in Prospect Park (brooklyn, folks). ![]() (i'm still pissed i had my cam phone set to 'small') |

we got 26" record high that february 11.. funny u mention it, i also went to my friend's high school (I think Roslyn out in LI) and we built a 4 ft high kicker... it felt like we were landing in marshmallows even when we landed right on our backs.. if the west coast is like that, oh man, i can now understand what they mean it doesn't compare to the east.... but fo'shure i also played hookie from work but on tuesday.. i went to mtn creek and it was all ice by then...

yeah, i wondered if Jersey got that good snow, too. and that Monday was the best day of it. i could barely walk through the park. it was hilarious the looks i got. walking down the street in my gear, carrying a snowboard and shovel. people kept stopping in the park to watch me.

i was at MTN Creek at 7:30 am that Sunday we got the snow, i had to drive about 45 mintues northwest to get to the mountain, and they had at least 10 less inches on the Mountain than other places, the storm stayed on the coast. All in all though a great day (for jersey standards)
