    Posted: Oct/03/2006 at 1:01pm
I'm thinking about getting a "used" Burton UnInc that's an 05 model 156 from a friend of a friend.  He bought it new last year before he started riding, and figured out after 2 times out that he hated snowboarding... oops.  His loss is my benefit, he's offering it to me for 150 bucks.  2 days on the hill, so basically pretty new.  Really good deal, price-wise.

What do you think of the UnInc?  Has anybody found any trouble with the 1 hole pattern?  I feel like it wouldn't be that strong cause there are only 2 holes holding the plates down, but who knows.

Any thoughts would be helpful, Thanks.

I basically will be using this board when messin around in the parks and while riding with some of my lesser-experienced friends.  I'm probably gonna snag it unless somebody really has something against it.

I would hook it up on the deal alone. If you find that you don't like it or its the wrong size, etc., you will can get your money back and then some on ebay for sure.

That deal is better than pro-form.

No doubt, it's a little random.  I would've prolly never looked at one on the shelf at a store, but since he doesn't want it, I might as well take it from him.  I'm just a little sketched about this one-line hole pattern thing.  They don't even use the normal burton 3 hole pattern.  Any experience?

they are some pretty sweet boards, and their riders are pretty cool too, but i dont know. burton owns 50% of the market for snow, and plus the UnInc boards make it really hard to have any bindings but burton, so i dont really get why its so Un-coprated but hey.

unincs are sweet. they are a bit less un incorporated this year based on tech. graphics are still off the hook and totally insane.

05 for $150. do it! the 156 is a sweet board. kinda twitchy though.

i sold a beat up 04 for like nuthin'. $50 or so. but a 05 almost brand new for $150 is schweet.

and the 2x is SICK!

its the dark brown/grey (can't really tell) with yello-orangy under the straps and in the heel/toe ramp.  the uninc is bright freakin pink tho, so i'm not really sure they match up 100%.  i really want the new kelly-green, those are sooo sick.
