since the caps are brought up,
does anyone know where I can buy super capstraps for a little less? 40 dollars is a little much in my opinion.  I know sierra had some for 20, but it's back up at 40. Flashy is preferred, but black is ok too. |

Yeah I am not feeling Burton's designs for 2009 either, yet. I didn't care for 2008 at first but I did start to warm up to the designs once I started seeing them on the mountain. I even think the Un.Inc is kinda funny and cool now...I hated it at first.
Bottom line, you will never be able to please everyone on graphic design so just make sure you are putting out a good product. I do like the look of the Blender, pair that up with some Half Life pants and jacket and you will be able to "hypmotize" everyone on the mountain.  |

I don't doubt that the '09 capstraps are pretty similar to their basic capstraps, but I can't imagine that they give the same sort of grip or fit of the super capstraps. If the super capstraps are gone for good and this is the best they can do, I'm going to be pretty disappointed.

Burton did this, because team riders, and other riders were removing the thing to hollow it out from the super cap strap. There is a thread on burton message boards, and people who have done it say that it's better... lighter, same grip, same support, molds better, etc. |
