For those of you at work (like myself), there is streaming video available at expn.com.

I'd be interested in hearing predictions as to who will win the main ski and snowboard events.

Which also goes to show how fad-driven the sport has become.  I love how people bash customs cause they're price-point "crap", and we're all in love with techy 200+ dollar bindings (I'm guilty of this).  meanwhile, the world's best contest rider has been on (gasp) crappy burtons for years.

All I know is that at Keystone, I was watching him pull (all in one trick) a frontflip to late frontflip 360 (2 frontflips, 1 360).  And remember this was on an 80 foot kicker...

damn! ski halfpipe was on on the first day?!??! what the shit? those should be like the last days. the garbage snowmobile stuff should be first. ugghh!

anyways, sounds like Dumont got robbed again like he did last year. that's pretty whack. i think Dumont is a MUCH better skiier. he pulls out a lot more in his runs.
peace.

Dumont= Hey look at me I can go really big

Hall= I can do more tricks than you in one run, with more versatility, and go almost as big.

What were you guys watching? Sure, Dumont went HUGE, but thats not all there is to it. He didn't spin both ways and he had 2 less hits a run, and you guys thought that should win?? If nothing else he shoud of learned lastyear that the judges aren't going to reward that.

it'd be neat if they showed people running through the course or else where on the mountain in between competitions (for the live stream) - instead of the camera just sitting at the bottom/top of the hill.

The skier with those skis is Jon Olson.  He is SIIICK.  By the way,  the snowboard is copying the skis, he has been rocking the model on those skis for a few years.  He had skis with a different girl on them last year Big%20smile

Ryo Aonu might have flipped o and u on last name.  Just finished watching finals, the snowfall was crucial in some of the shots.   Solid results but will not spoil.
