Keep in mind that the Angry Midget said there may be a double giveaway, not a staff member.  And we all know the Angry One talks out of her ass from time to time...  Wink

Not that this necessarily means anything, but I used to be extremely active on this site years ago when I first signed up. Never won a damn thing. Then I started a new job, and I didn't have the time to come on as much. I started logging on with my phone and I won three times now. Two boards and a board bag.

^ I wouldn't know if it works, I sold it as soon as I saw how flimsy it is.  Wouldn't have lasted 2 or 3 days for me.

Haha! It's true, the Sierra bag leaves a lot to be desired. I gave mine to a friend who had nothing since I already had a bag for each of my boards.

The bag is good enough to use as a storage bag but I wouldn't take it traveling or anything.

haha..i don't think it was ever meant to be a luggage bag to take on the plane..it's just to carry the board around without cutting the pleather on your car... at least you were able to sell it..free money!

I need to get rid my Sierra bag, the smallest size they had at the time was like a 165...L80 don't you have the Thrive bag?  That looks a bit more sturdy for travel.

Yes, the Thrive Destination Wheelie Bag is a well-made bag designed for traveling. I haven't put it through the airline handlers yet, but I think it should hold up to their abuse. They're a good deal at $85 for anyone looking for a travel wheelie for their board. Feel free to use the link below in the Sig.

I received one for free when I purchased a Thrive Renegade snowboard and won the second bag.

The Thursday Giveaway is taking the summer off, Thrive is launching a new web site soon so I'm guessing they may start a new giveaway.

it's ok if you missed it...you still have a chance 3 times a week, every week, to win either a board or bindings. just try to log on every day..and, if possible, contribute to the rest of the community (real product reviews, and quality forum posts).

Chances of winning is slim so I don't even bother watching the giveaway.  LOL  I just check the previous winner list instead.

Three days a week. Mon, Wed, Fri.

\That's the general schedule they do it at.. there's been days which there were none taken place. so its become a toss up now. I don't see them continuing the giveaway for much longer. But I hope they do.. its great!

as long as they have the boards in stock, they'll continue with the giveaways..these boards are already a few years old and sierra is not a known brand...i can imagine the retail sales for these boards aren't great...the giveaways will get rid of the inventory taking up warehouse space, and draw in customers that eventually give up on waiting for free gear and spend some money here.
