...out.  I got to ride with he and SacComedyBrian on Saturday, and had a great day.  I'll let him explain the story, if he feels inclined to do so.  I was disappointed to not get to ride with them more, but thats the way it goes I guess.  Bruizza, can you post or send me the vids or pics you took?  If anybody cares, Ive cross posted my trip report from my ongoing riding log.

Thanks for the fun fellas.  I had a great time, and my knees are feeling fine again.

___________________________________________________________________

Day 22 3-1-2008 Keystone, CO  After a long ordeal to get to Keystone from Boulder, I made it onto the hill by 2.  Met up with Bruizza and SacComedyBrian for some shred.  Stayed on the front side of Keystone, and mostly hit groomers and park.  Area 51 is massive, with tons of different sized rails and boxes to learn on.  I wasn't that impressed with their jump lines, as the medium sized hits were spaced way too close together.  Mostly hit little Aframe type stuff, and a ride on downpipe.   At the very end of the night, Bruizza blasted me at nearly full speed with his edge right above my knees.  I'm lucky I didn't get hurt too bad, cuz it coulda been ugly.

Day 23 3-2-2008 Keystone, CO  Got about 4-6" of fresh.  Was gonna meet up with Bruizza and Brian again, but the roads were shut down.  Quite a shame.  Rode the backside for most of the morning, and found a few good lines.  Snow conditions were pretty wretched, with 4-6" of fresh on ice moguls.  Once I found a good line, I stuck with it.  The second part of the day, I rode park and the Bowls below the park.  It was a nice mix of park laps followed by freeriding through the bowls to the Peru lift.  I stepped up again and hit a medium( by Keystone standards) sized jump, that was probably slightly larger than the largest hit at SugarBowl.  I cleared it three times, and cased it twice. I hit my first ollie-on box and landed it both times I tried it.  I spun a few FS 180s off a hip with medium success, and I also mastered the down pipe.  After I got back to the hostel I spent 2 hours digging my rental car outta the snow.

Day 24 3-302008 Loveland, CO  Got up early to make it to Loveland for early tracks.  Started off the day riding chair 8, which was crazy fun.  This was my first experience riding above the tree line, and it was extremely windy.  The wind was worth it, though, because it created tons of little wind lip hits.  After these, I dropped through the trees and back onto the groomer before hitting a small kicker created by the lifties.  Later in the day, I explored off of chair 1 and 2.  I spent a good amount of time in the park, which had 2 ideal sized jumps set up.  I handled them well, and only fell once when I hit the jump with way too much speed and over-rotated mid air.  I also was able to hit their ride on box - to drop with ease.  Loveland is windy, huge, and beautiful.  The freeriding was an interesting experience above the tree lines.

Overall thoughts on CO:  I didn't find the terrain I was expecting, though I didn't go to the best mountains for intense terrain.  I probably need some guide to show me the really fun spots.  Also, the snow conditions werent that great, but again Im sure that I didnt see CO at its best.

Ya it was soo hot.  After it was over, I just laid there, partially regretting it, but also happy that we got to ride...

Good to hear you are hitting more jibs! Looks like i may have pushed you just the right amount back at Sugar to start hittin' themWink

As for CO, there is some great terrain at Keystone, mostly off the back side and up the other lifts. A51 is a great park and has a decent amount of progressive features to work on shit. I have never been to Loveland, so can't comment on that. Next time you go to CO let me know nd i could probably make it out there.
I'm just here to look cool...

Ya riding with you last Monday definitely got me back into hitting jibs.  I feel like its easier on my banana because its very difficult to catch an edge.  Thanks for convincing me its not as hard as it seems.

Hey man what's a trip to CO if I don't come close to taking u out for the rest of the season. My big dumbass couldn't stop in time and fell over trying and plowed into Andrew pretty hard. I'm glad he was okay because after I stopped laughing I felt pretty bad.
