Sierra at Tahoe is my favorite.  The back gates are a blast on a powder day. I've hiked out of the trees there sooo  many times, now I know were not to go and some secret spots.

Well I voted for Alpine.  Best natural terrain of all the choices...and that's what I'm about.  Sierra sucks imho.  Northstar is way better.  Never rode Heavenly but I'd kick it if I found a lift ticket in a mud puddle.Dead

northstar is gay. they spend thier money for the wrong reasons. is not a local friendly place anymore. the people are not always that nice. way to crowded. and most of all the most overrated place in the country or world. no good, and their jumps suck.

heavenly, just dont like it, a pain and the as* to get around, wayy to expensive, and well their park is lame.

Alpine is the best cuz of their mellow park that has the biggest features in the tahoe basin. yeahh no one else had the size jumps they did and that is a fact so dont argue it. friendliest people ever :). good price, 200 dollar season pas*. never that crowded, ever. best powder around (600 of it a year). and the easiest accessible backcountry that not a lot of people go to and gets you back to the lodge/ lifts.
i love that place.
but it sux! ;) haha

If you like Northstar, try to go to Mission Ridge near Wenachee (I think that is how you spell it).  I grew up in Richland, Washington and went there all the time when I was in High School.  Where do you live now?

Northstar is the best if you can avoid going on the weekend.  You will have total control of the mountain.  Just watch out for the old people (aka speedbumps).
