Freeride. I try to avoid the crowds. Been riding for 10 years. Can't pick just one resort, but Kirkwood, squaw, and mammoth are all good.

I'm jealous! I was reading that you could board resort to resort across the alps with a guide. Ever heard of anyone doing that?

I take what I can get over here on the east. The slopes are short and icy, and the parks are limited. I do about half and half park and freeriding. Last season in Utah I spent most of the time freeriding since I never get powder over here and loved every minute of it.

In NC, it snowed about 90" total last year (Sugar Mtn). Thats a good 6-7 hour drive for me, and I can only make it out like 10 days a year (most out west now), but I do it as much as I can. The snow turns to ice very fast here too, it is only "decent" quality once in awhile down here.

I've been riding for about 9 years. But, you wont catch me on the runs, Im a tree hugger...hehehehe :)   oh and a friend of mine got me into backcountry hiking/snowboarding...geezz...that is a lot of work...

I do get some cat-boarding in as well. Trying to save up enough$$$ to heli-board this year.

My fav mountain....well I just like the mountains that have ALOT of steep trees...Sierra at Tahoe - Castle run in the tree's on a powder day...doesnt get any better than that.....:)

Im addicted to snowboarding - I think I need rehab.....
