hey all, just thought I would ask you to keep my friends and neighbors in your thoughts and prayers.  An area of about 50-70 square miles had somewhere between 20-30 tornadoes touch down yesterday afternoon causing a lot of damage.

It was the strangest weather I have ever witnessed.  The tornadoes were well over a mile wide.  We do not usually get tornadoes this close to the mountains.

45 mile per hour wind gusts in Sacramento and Fires across the state.  And tornadoes in Los Angeles and Colorado.  Earthquakes and Typhoons causing 50,000 deaths.  Bush in the White House.

I'm glad I do comedy or this would be pretty depressing!

17 inches of fresh snow in Utah too...  It can't be all that bad if we're getting 17 inchs of snow in May.

so it's justifiable to have tornadoes everywhere as long as you get snow.  I think I would prefer to have no snow and no tornadoes.  But if we must have one, I am glad someone gets to enjoy the other.

I was just pointing out that interesting isn't always bad.  Yes, it's horrible to have natural disasters, I'm not trying to downplay that.

I am about 70 miles north of you, we have had 30-40 tornadoes over the last 30 hours, it's been ridiculous.  Luckily most of them haven't caused any damage...I actually am not sure how many have touched down but the sightings have been in Cheyenne, Laramie, and the Fort Collins/Greeley/Windsor area.  Hail was coming down here about 30 minutes ago and another tornado was spotted just north of us.
