Anyone else see an issue here?  When was the last time that stoners committed a violent act other than raiding the fridge'?

Only in Oregon

In other pot related news, I just bought a foreclosure house that house 20-30 plants in the basement from the previous owner, second time in six months this has happened.

Too bad I don't smoke.

Marijuana is one of the best anti violence thing out  there. Pot smokers rarely ever get into a fight and when they are about to hit someone they forget what the reason for the fight was anyway.

Haha,

I was trying to figure out a way to give it all away.  But I actually have the police coming over to sieze it this afternoon, I don't want t get caught up in somthing stupid trying to hook people up.  The previous owner had a license to grow and consume it though, its still hanging on the wall in the basement.  I swear it seems like everyone has one of those licenses now here.

I'm sure that not all the plants are going to make it back to the station.  Funniest phone call I have had to make in a while though.

"Yes, my house is full of weed, can you guys come get it, or should I just put it on craigslist?"

Incidently, this is NOT how you should ever make this phone call again, should the need come up.   The officer I was transferred to thought it was funny, but the prick who answered the phones was not amused at all.  Damn near became a suspect in a drug ring.

^^LOL!!! some ppl just take themselves way to seriously.

Remember kids pot itself isn't that bad, BUT it leads to horrible things like junk food, video games, and extended naps.LOL
A thermos keeps hot stuff hot, and cold stuff cold.....BUT HOW DOES IT KNOW???

I would have been eating brownies for months!!

Serously though, there is going to be a bit of an issue when I re-sell this house.  The smell has become part of the house it seems.

All the more to ask for a premium on the price from "smokers".  The smell adds to the ambiance.  LOL

I'm hoping once the carpet is ripped out and the walls are painted it will go away a bit.

Can't complain though, paid 160k for a house thats worth 300k even in its current condition.  I told the bank if they didn't sell it to me so cheaply, I was going to call the DEA.  While people in Oregon can get medicinal medical marijana licenses fairly easily. The bank happened to be located in Texas and had no idea it was legal so they thought the feds were simply going to sieze the property from them and they wouldn't get any money out of it.

My camera is being stupid, I'm trying to upload the pics of the basemet, its hilarious.

you might need to replaster the walls if it sipped in over a long period of time. especially if it's dry wall instead of stucco

I'll probably just get a dumpster, clean it out and sell it as is and let someone else work on it and make some money.  Ties up a lot of money if I hold things and fix them to sell.

The walls need to be re-drywalled anyway.  There were holes in many of them, they were cutting them for ducting to go down to the basement where the grow room was.  Pretty funny setup, duct tape and fans/lights everywhere.

I read an article in Playboy a few months back about a guy in Denver who was licensed to grow and sell medicinal marijuana out of his house and he was robbed and killed...pretty bad deal

...by the way I swear I dont really read the articles...I just look at Playboy for the pictures.  Wink

Thats why I called them first.  If theysaw me dumping them in the trash or something, I would end up on the hood of a police car or something.

Worse yet, getting beat down with clubs while they scream "stop resisting!"

super troopers is the best, hehehe

I don't smoke either but I think Oregon is like the pot capital of the world or next to it.

I wonder how you get a medicinal pot license? Do you tell the Dr., "Yeah, I'm awake all the time, getting too much done and I don't snack at all anymore."

Actually, NorCal is the pot capital. It's even easier to get a medicinal license.

it depends on a variety of factors....how it's grown is one factor.  Another factor would be how you would sell it (by the oz, by the lb, by the gram).  Assuming the plant was fully ripe for flowering, each one could produce about 2 ounces of bud.  1 Ounce can go for anywhere between 240-280 depending on the quality.  So.....2 ozs times 30 plants equals 60 ounces.  So let's do the math

By the gram:  60 ounces = 1680 grams x $20 MSRP = $33,600
By the ounce: 60 ounces x $250 = $15,000

realistically, you probably wouldnt be able to sell 1680 individual grams, unless you got a squad of runners and a deep, deep client-base.

i've never grown, but i smoked a lot in my place in college.  the smell of weed doesn't adhere to surfaces as much as something like cigarette smoke.  Just air it out a couple days/weeks and you should be ok.  If not, a fresh coat of paint will probably take care of it.

I like that you actually used the term MSRP in reference to pot.

I think she meant the area in general..which includes humboldt trinity lake etc..but yeah if you narrow it down to a single county it's humboldt.

word of mouth/doctor recommendations.  one guy tells another guy to go to this doctor, you slip the doctor $100, and you get a card.

Big thing around lately seems to be everyone getting a prescription for Adderal.  Seems like everyone at the gym is using it now.

adderall is the greatest drug ever....the complete opposite of marijuana.  it's saved me through many a midterm/final.  it actually makes studying fun and intense.  not sure about the addictive properties, though...i never felt like i needed it unless i had to take a test.

that's weird you say people at the gym use it.  i've tried to lift on adderall, and it was NOT happening.  my muscles completely shut down prematurely on the third set of my first exercise.  this was after i've been lifting consistently 5x a week for 3 months too.  weird stuff.
