burton Vapor or GNU Altered Genetics

While both those snowboards are leaders in technological innovation, the concepts they use are quite different. The vapor is a blend of aluminum honeycomb and wood while the Altered Genetics is a genetically engineered blend of two different species of tree. The Vapor uses a blend of materials to create a super light snowboard without losing performance. The Altered Genetics has made a superior type of wood for usage in snowboard cores. The Altered Genetics is a little stiff for my taste, i rarely find myself rippin big mountain above 10,000 ft. The Vapor's flex is more forgivin and appeals to me a little mo.....
