That's a hard one. I'm gonna have to think about this for a while..
I have 2 burton boards and a gnu board, but i'm leaning towards lib tech, which i never rode before. |

What is it with people and K2? Do you really think they are that good of boards? I've tried a handfull of them and I cant seem to like them at all. I know, every rider is different, but I can't stand them for some odd reason. However, I love my Millenium Three! woo!

I learned to ride on a K2 like 7 years ago, the one with red/white/blue stripes running down the length of the board. I hated it and was convinced that the board was the reason that I kept falling my first day out (I was arrogant and thought I'd pick up snowboarding in a heartbeat since I skateboarded). Now I wish I had that board for sentimental purposes haha. It'd be fun to ride that sucker right now and see how it handles. Sorry, didn't answer your question, but that's my experience with K2.

eldorado. the reason you hated it is because it's a freeride board mainly oriented for backcountry AK stuff. it's a tanker, but solid on a wide open 45 degree pitch.

you're probably right on that one - it probably made learning a lot harder. but i think i hated it because i had no idea wtf i was doing and i would have hated any snowboard i was using at that point. i was totally convinced that the board sucked, and it wasn't because i was putting all my weight over my back leg that i kept falling. over. and over.
