haha i don't wanna go all D&M, but it is interesting that there is such a massive response to a photograph thread on a snowboard forum. Kinda proves my theory that people who spend so much time in natural environments (surfers, snowboarders etc.) really do feel compelled capture these things!

What does everyones lens collection look like?

I've got the standard 18-135mm f/3.5 that came with my kit, but I also grabbed a 80-200mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.4.  Next on the list are two Tamron lenses though.  Their 60mm f/2.0 Macro lens and their 18-270mm with Vibration Compensation are calling my name.

we had a boxer that looked just like that.  They look all intimidating, but are really sweet natured.  Unfortunately, they don't live very long - we've had 4 and none of them made it much past ten years old.

I agree, there's nothing mighty about that mouse.  I got tired of cleaning the scrolling ball,  so I use the mouse that's used for the Wacom tablet.

Not too bad, if you didn't tell me i wouldn't of noticed, its not one of the first things you look for, but you can see the feint lines around the boarder. Keep them coming...

Just a question for those who take their cameras on the slopes. What do you do to protect them? I want to take my Canon out next year but I don't want to risk messing anything up with the cold temps and snow. Any tips?

one of my best friends, lydia.. few weeks ago.

me, taken by lydia.  i call it "karate kid winning the heisman trophy"
