I need to visit this thread more often. There are so many awesome pictures in here. Hopefully I can post some up after we move. Planning on doing a lot of hiking and picture taking once we get out there. We do need to upgrade our cameras though. We have a crappy point and shoot and Alissa has a Nikon n65 from when she was in school. Hoping to upgrade to a digital SLR sometime in the near future. Until it will be good ol film.

Well these were taken with some film that was about 9 years old and I don't think they are that great but I had fun taking them and figured I would post.

No mountain biking today. I had the day off so I thought I would do a little exploring. I am really amazed at the size of Breck, that place is just massive. And yeah there are a whole lot of dead trees around.

Nikon D70 with 17-70

Stitched with Autopano Giga 2

Need a new body, D70 is way too noisy.
Lifes pretty straight without drifting.

I got my film pictures developed today. I'm trying to use up this old film so once again they turned out really grainy since it is so old.

Not my picture, but figured I needed to share this with the people.

Some dude's been waiting 40+ years to capture a shot of this and finally accomplished it in September.  Not sure if anybody else has seen this yet, but I just came across it tonight thanks to the MSN homepage.

Thanks!  It was really beautiful up there, I wish we could've stayed for sunset but we were all carrying ultralight gear and some guys said it had gotten down to 25F the night before and wind was supposed to pick up to 10mph from the pre-trip forecast I read so we took river trail down and camped low for the night.  Hopefully I can make it out to 1000 island lake again some time though.. especially when there are some trout there! LOL
